He didn't use it. MVP's been on TV since October 2006 and Santino debuted in April 2007. They won't have both using the same finishers You would have thought but they most definitely did! Occasionally, especially if one guy is considering changing it a more generic finisher will overlap. It's always a brief period.

Nah, Santino was using a swinging neckbreaker variation as his generic finisher, not the Overdrive. The announcer on HEAT kept calling it a Rolling Cutter, but I'm pretty sure that's wrong since Santino had the guy in a front facelock, not an inverted one.

What ever happened to Candice Michelle's Candy Wrapper...I don't recall seeing it since her return...could be wrong. She hit the Un-prettier version on Jillian Hall late last year. The original Candy Wrapper, which was some sort of hybrid of the Un-prettier and a standing bulldog, was done only once; on Melina at the 2007 GAB.

I think Kennedy's finishers are more of a safety concern. As awesome as they are, the green bay plunge(from the turnbuckle) seems extremely dangerous if you are slightly off. And then he did a sweet standing version of it that I thought was cooler. His current Mic Check is fine by me though as Ive always been a fan of the Flatliner, because when it comes down to it...Who betta than Kanyon?

I have never seen an extreme twist of fate outside of video games. Christy Hemme used it during that period where she was being mentored by Lita. She adopted it as her own and it was renamed the "Twisty Christy". She even used it in TNA a couple of times before she started using the FFG.

Isaw him do it mate, may not have been his main one on heat but he most definitely did - I got pissed cos they seem to give that move to everyone as their finisher when they first come up from developmental unless they've been around for a bit - one of the agents must be high on it.

Didn't Big Show use the Alley-Oop as a finisher for a couple of weeks?

Didn't Big Show use the Alley-Oop as a finisher for a couple of weeks? I remember him having that as his finisher in one of the Smackdown games, but I don't remember ever actually seeing him use it.

Now that he's a face, Khali seems to have dropped the Vice Grip, which is good.
Also Jesse and Festus used to do the Rocket Launcher in their first few matches, and don't seem to anymore.

Al Snow's Snow Plow. Although it my just seem like it didn't catch on because he never won a match. Al Snow never won a match?

Shattered Dreams ... it was presented like a new finisher for a few weeks, and then someone apparently realized: "Hey, this can't be Goldust's actual finisher or he'll always get disqualified." You just reminded me about the most obscure finisher I could remember..and Goldust did it. During the Attitude Era, Goldust was on Metal/Jakked/WWF New York (whatever the heck it was then), and he was supposed to fight Tiger Ali Singh, instead he wrestled his servant Babu. At the end of the match, he locked up Babu almost as if it were a pedigree, except Babu was facing upwards, he locked the arms, and he essentially sat on the guy's face causing his entire body to drop. It's a move that I have never seen or heard about since, but the announcers saw it fit to call it "The Oscar." What's bad is I can only think of one counter to this, but, while the receiver of "The Oscar" would get disqualified for it, it would make sure Goldust never used it again. ;D

Who was is that used the slingshot suplex? They used it to get a win a little while back for like one match. I remember some people liked it and a lot peple said it was too dated. Lance Cade.

My memory is getting hazy, but didn't Bob Holly use a Falcon Arrow he called the Holly-caust for a cup of coffee back in the Attitude era?
He may have still used the move, but the name got dropped PDQ.

Also Jesse and Festus used to do the Rocket Launcher in their first few matches, and don't seem to anymore. Have they had any matches (let alone any where they have had a chance to go for a finish) in awhile?
