I don't like him, I think hes extremely overrated in terms of hilarity and wrestling skills. Hopefully he gets the pink slip in the next batch of cuts. "Closest to Ready in Development"? DH Smith says hi.

DH Smith says hi. Take everything he just typed, flip it into opposite-land, and you have my opinion. CABANARAMA! P.S. DH Smith? Really? Wow...

It sucks that Steve Kiern and Dusty Rhodes aren't booking up on the main roster. Maybe they should switch some of the bookers and writers so Cabana could get a shot.
I don't understand the tv star look. Also, some nice unbiased reporting to the wrestling journalists here. Wrestling Observer at times seems like it's the Fox News of pro wrestling, where as Figure 4 is the National Inquirer.

So basically he would be taking Funaki's old role.

Look at who the FCW Champion is, look at who the tag champions are. Am I to believe these guys are what a TV star is supposed to be and Scotty isn't? Pffft

Dammit, this guy is the next Stevie Richards! Unfortunately, the best he can probably hope for is about as much of a push as Stevie ever got. (RTC angle and bWo notwithstanding...and Stevie still didn't get any titles then, other than hardcore, which barely counts).
Maybe Scotty/Colt should just say screw it, and go to TNA. And continue to wear the best wrestling attire EVER. Dude has 60's Batman-style sound effects on there! You've GOTTA love it!

He doesn't look like a TV star so they give him his own web show? Is he what a internet star looks like? I am perplexed.

Eh, I call Newz on the "not looking like a TV star" thing. I mean yeah, he doesn't really look like a TV star.... but neither does Snitsky or Eugene or any of the other guys who got pushes at one point or another.

If this is true, WWE doesn't deserve him.
Colt is world-class.

Cabana doesn't look like your typical wrestler and thats exactly what he brings to the table. I don't understand the WWE's logic of homogenizing every new wrestler into the same cookie cutter mold.
Part of what makes wrestling worth watching is the unique characters and Colt totally has to the potential to be a very memorable character.

One of my biggest problems as a WWE fan is all the cookie-cutter new wrestlers they bring in. I thought that the Spirit Squad was goofy, but they stood out and you remembered them. Then they turned Kenny into a generic CAW template from the SmackDown games, and he wasn't even worth paying attention to anymore.

Eh, so are the respected news outlets nowadays. They spent a couple months trying to convince that the taxpayers getting raped out of our money so that some rich bankers could spend $1.2 million of it on redecorating their office was necessary for the economy to be healthy. Compared to that, Meltzer deserves a Pulitzer.
