Coming from the company that on air did skits with sex with the dead, Candice and Trips getting oral under a table, a retarded wrestler, and the ever floating incest gimmick that keeps making its way to the table but getting axed at the last minute...this is pretty tame.

F purple people. Unless they're choking, then HELP THEM Thank you, Mitch. Also, that's not the first time they've used the handicap symbol for handicap match. I believe it's been seen on the ... well now I can't think of it ... the Las Vegas episode thing that Bischoff came up with ... Raw Roullette!

Considering the term Handicapped isn't politically correct, no. It apparently refers to the need for the disabled in times past to beg for their sustinance, a cap in hand, so to speak. Despite the fact that the handicapped, like the elderly, the widowed and the orphaned for centuries only survived at the mercy and charity of others, a little humility and a lot more gratitude would be felt, but apparently everyone has to be the new black.

I'd be fine with that symbol being used for a Wheelchair match, but a 2 on 1 match is a bit different. Like someone else said, you could have an image of 3 stick figures and still get the point across. I don't think WWE was doing this for shock value attention though. Otherwise, they'd have done a lot more with it. I think either somebody just missed this, or like someone else on this board said, they were using an internationally recognized symbol. WWE DOES broadcast all over the world.

I think that's the least offensive part of a storyline based on the belief that middle-aged women are gross, and are not allowed to be sexy.
I'm just sayin'.

Like others have said, not really offensive, just dumb because that's a different meaning of the word than the one used to describe the match.

The offensive thing is WWE doesn't know the difference between a sports handicap and a handicapped logo.
A handicap match is this Triple H < 2 opponents

Handicap = wheelchair disabled person. I understand the logic behind it, but surely in this politically correct time we live in, isn't it abit risky? Go to any store in the US. You see the same logo in Blue and White. Same with the deal you hang in your car to part there and some states on the lience plates. Same with bathroom stales. It a national logo for it.

I think its kinda humorous that a "last man standing" match follows a "Handicap" match where they use a wheelchair to dictate the icon. So do I.

It is a little tasteless to use that icon, but nothing is wrong with the name of the match.

Maybe only handicapped people should be able to partake. Wheel yourself in here, Batista.
