Is 2k9 the only baseball game on the 360? Did EA just quit making baseball games? Or is this a case where the 2k series got the exclusive rights to the game? I snorking hate the exclusive rights garbage. snork EA and snork 2k. 2k series got the exclusive rights to the MLB Series. EA was doing the College Baseball series

I was hoping this would finally get better. I gave up on 2k8 last year because I thought the pitching control was far too difficult and the hitting dynamics way too complicated. What ever happed to pressing a button for a guy to swing?

What ever happed to pressing a button for a guy to swing? You can do that in MLB 2K8, if you change the options to Classic Batting Mode. Took some time for me to figure that out.

No, when you exchange the game they'll end up opening it then and there themselves just so you can't try and do that. There is a chance that whoever is helping you will forget to do that, but that's how they're supposed to do it. Not always the case. In fact, in the times I've returned a game (played it for a while and hated it, yeah, done that a few times) they'll just allow me to exchange it for a new copy unopened, and I get to keep the original receipt. Next day, take it back and get the money (or just exchange it for a different game)

They are supposed to do it, but often it's a random employee who really doesn't give a crap.

I snorking hate the exclusive rights garbage. snork EA and snork 2k. 2K has multiplatform exclusivity. A first party company(IE Sony, Nintendo, MS) can make a baseball game for their platform. Thus The Show, which many say is the bestest baseball game EVAR!(@&*^&*!. But it isn't named RBI 93, so I cannot agree.

i took it back and they were only gonna let me get another copy of the game. I informed them of my situation and even they they said they arent suppose to give any kind of refund for opened video games (something about copyright laws or something)... i spoke with a manager and she gave me a refund on a gift card
Goodbye MLB 2K9...Hello 50 CENT Blood on the Sand
Its actually a pretty fun, and funny game.. hearing 50 cent speak thug while trying to find a skull with bling bling on it is great...awesome arcade shoot em game

and 2k9 is just a horrible game all around, but i would have stood with it, had I been able to play 1 damn game withouth it freezing, or having the commentary stop then 2 innings later it freezing.. Itll suck with no baseball game to play in mid Summer when baseball heats up.
Owel Ill just kill mother f***ers with 50 cent.

It figures, EA makes the greatest baseball game ever, and 2K gets the exclusive rights to MLB. Don't get mad at the game companies for this exclusivity crap, get mad at the leagues. The leagues are the ones that signed the contracts.

I do have The Show and I do play it, but pretty much the only reason is because 2k9 sucks ass.
