I don't know if you guys noticed this, but to me, Nite Owl I plays better than Silk Spectre I. NOI has a longer attack range and his moves seem to do more damage. SSI, her punches barely go a few pixels from her body. Also, I prefer NOI because, despite SSI being the embodiment of sexy, NOI's kick makes it look like he's dancing. I started with NOI and won easily, I played again with SS and lost quickly. Advantage to the bird. If you win you should have gotten to unlock Rorschach. If you win with him... Dr. Manhattan, though just pushing V and having everyone explode might get old. Heh. I was clicking like hell to try and unlock him from the character select screen. Maybe I should have tried the Konami code? ;D

Holy Exclusive Clips Night Owl! And a new TV spot: Awesome! Though I must say a little too much slow motion for my liking. Still have high hopes though.

You wouldn't believe the deal I found at my University's bookstore today! They have this stand with all these different Watchmen books, most are behind the scenes books for the movie, and then there was a small stack of the actual graphic novel on the stand.
I picked it up, flipped it over to the back cover, and found that the price was only $20! So I bought 2 copies.
The first copy is a very late birthday/Christmas combo gift for my mom(she likes anime, manga, and comic books just like me). The second copy is for me. I never owned Watchmen. The first time I read it, I borrowed the copy my high school's library had of it.

Not to rain on your parade but I think most copies of Watchmen are 20 bucks. At least that's what they're goin' for at the comic book shop by my house.

Two weeks ago I went to a Waldenbooks and their copies are $40. I also went to a Barnes & Noble, also $40. It is also $40 at my local comic shop. This is the cheapest I could find(that I could do). I would've rather taken advantage of Amazon's $11 deal for Watchmen.

Which is kinda b.s. cuz this time last year they pretty much all retailed at 19.95. granted I ended up giving my TPB to a friend, while I spent forty for Absolute Watchmen ( but seeing as it retails for seventy five I still got a good deal)

Wait for it.......Wait for it..... Yep. Alan Moore just kicked a baby in anger. Oh, I think he's done more than that. Considering his status as a magician, I would seriously not doubt that Mr. Moore didn't cast a few curses when he heard about that particular tie in. *Hrrm* Though I never have seen the attraction of colored, or glow in the dark condoms anyway. It's not like you can see it yourself, once you have it...err....deployed in the right area. So what does it matter if the rubber has Hulk Hogan on it, or Dr. Manhattan, or Mickey Mouse?

Granted those $40 ones were thick as hell(thicker than the $20 ones I bought). So I guess the extra $20 comes from new material put in there?

The only copy of Watchmen I've ever seen for $40 was the hard cover edition.
PS.
More clips from the movie:
I have to say that Jeffrey Dean Morgan is turning out to be my favorite part of this movie. He captures the character so perfectly. It's amazing.

The casting of Nite Owl II is perfect. Great choices on Dr. Manhattan, Comedian, Laurie as well. Of those clips I've seen, I'm really skeptical on Veidt, the over usage of slow mo, and Dan didn't warn Veidt!
But still looks like a great movie and I'm going to really enjoy the DVD and it's glorious special features.

Yeah, from what I have seen of this....Snyder KILLS it with all the slow motion. Not happy about that at all.
