Although Street Fighter 4 is one amazing game I feel I must comment on the fact that the theme song that plays during the intro and main menu is really, really camp. It sounds like a rejected High School musical track.

I love it just because it doesn't fit with the game very much. I changed my spoken language to Japenese and I still know the lyrics by heart.

Yeah, pretty sure the 3rd Strike theme kills it. Even though it was tacky as hell, the beat to that song was amazing. I was hoping for something to match it in SF4 and didn't get it. I thought the song they used for the trailers, for the little icon theme (the song that plays when you have it selected in the home menu, dunno if the 360 has it), and the volcano stage was the theme until I popped it in the PS3.

I've gotten used to it and kinda like it.
Beats Marvel vs Capcom 2's "Gonna take you for a ride" anyday.
Also speaking of Street Fighter, Does anyone else miss character specific levels.

If by "camp", you mean awful, then I agree.
I didn't think it was possible for any music to be as awful as MVC2's music (or much worse than Tekken 5's "Sparking".) Though, at least a good amount of the music in SF4 is decent.

All of the music in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was pretty terrible... Also, they do have character specific levels, although you won't always fight those characters on them (The hangar = Guile, jungle = Blanka, etc.).

yeah, especially if you have to listen to the song constantly on a loop when your in the Main Menu or when your waiting for a fight online. You Begin to almost sing it at times.

I love the theme music from SFII, probably my favorite video game soundtrack along with some of the Mega Man games.

Agreed 100% I'm just sad that unless I missed it, SF IV doesn't have the classic Blanka, Balrog, Vega or Dhalsim themes.

It's not the same music from the commercial, is it? Because that song, intentionally or not, is a blatant rip-off of "Light It Up" by Rev Theory.

No, it's this abomination: I wouldn't have minded the one from the commercial.... Isn't that a bit boy band for Street Fighter? I haven't bought the new game yet, but I remember the music in Street Fighter II being much more kickass. For example, this kicks ass and is my favorite theme:

The song is terrible. I've been discussing this with the guys at work for the past couple weeks. If it had a music video, the guy singing would have a wind machine pointed at him and an unbuttoned shirt on.
That said, I find myself singing it out loud all the time.

Also, they do have character specific levels, although you won't always fight those characters on them (The hangar = Guile, jungle = Blanka, etc.). To solve that problem, simply turn down the volume on the TV, and pop in a copy of "Vegas" by the Crystal Method in your CD player, and start playing MvC2. That entire CD fits well with the game, and I spent many an afternoon with this setup.
