I see the sign-in page is secure, but aside from that, is there a reason any other page/section/thread/etc. on the site is no longer secure? I'm on my laptop and I see it; when I log in on my phone I've seen it.
Is this something that happened over the past month? (I'll admit the negativity and constant arguing has kept me away from being a more frequent visitor over the past couple of months.) But that "not secure/circled i" next to the web address is a new twist to me.

The sign in has always been the only secure part as far as I know. The current trend is looking like things are slowly moving towards every webpage being secure, and newer updates of browsers are just making sure that you're aware that the current page isn't secure.

Does this site have any sway in terms of having an AMA with celebrities and stuff? Could we ever pull it off?

it comes up i have a message in my inbox when there is none. Proboards issue? Yep it's a proboards thing. Or a ghost. Either way, if you click the bubble it might go away, if not it'll probably disappear on its own after a while. What you really have to look out for is when somebody is stealing your likes

Is there an app or website where you can view popular wrestlers losses and wins at a glance against opponents? For example say you click on Bret Hart, it shows you a list of all the people he faced. Then you click on an opponent and it lists all the times they squared off or interacted, including tag matches, run ins (even if it was against a third party,) rumble appearances together (including details of confrontations in said rumble matches) and backstage segments.

You can do some of that here: www.profightdb.comThey only have times where two were involved in a match, no backstage stuff or run ins.

I think it's time to change the WWE forum. The attitude era was damn near 20 years ago. Maybe make it the Raw guest host era through current.

Hi. Do we still have the ability to block other people, so we can't see their posts? I know this used to be a thing, but I can't find it now.

Hi again. A question about reporting posts; I presume if someone reports a post you look at the post and deal with the reported person (or not) however you deem necessary. If someone reports a post & in your view there's nothing wrong with the post, do you let the person who reported it know why the post is considered okay, or do you just let it go? (I don't really know how things work with reports, or if you get so many of them that it wouldn't really be practical? Or it just boils down to different things offend different people?)

We all see em, we discuss em. Rarely do we bother with PMing the reporter because it's superfluous. There's never a "bad" time for a report if something's bothering you.
Sometimes we're quick about it. Other times we're slow and want to discuss/debate aspects of it. And other-other times we argue and fling poo at each other. Do know that no report is ignored.

This is a fairly open ended one and probably is an issue that's gone back much longer than the time I've rejoined.
Is there any way the 'extreme reactions in place of discussion' could be addressed, especially in WWE current?
A thread I started yesterday regarding being in Vince's position, one poster who I have no issue with, rather than actually replying just went off on a big rant about Vince, venting steam.
In threads about Cena yesterday, lots of opposing opinion which you expect but you have people getting SO wound up and irate it derails or discourages others from engaging.
It's just fairly indicative of the wored in general I guess but the amount of times people seem to take a viewpoint on something as light as professional wrestling as a personal slight is offputting.
That's in no way a criticism of the mods either, as said it's part of a wider issue and I lack the first clue on how to address it but is there anyway people can be told to take a breath, relax and actually discuss and debate?

Good post/question. For years we've wanted to find a way to "fix" WWE current. A few need a dose of "Lighten up, Francis". Others need to be told "your opinion is not a damn fact, get over yourself". Then there's the ol' frequent highhorse. Oh and those who act above it all and go with sweeping generalizations. That certainly doesn't help and is a good way to get under my skin.
I get it. I do. But internet gonna internet and it's a fight that can be won only in inches, and never for any length of time. Only advice I got is mind yer own Ps and Qs and encourage others to do the same. Best hope that board ever has is drowning out the outlandish hyperbole, snark, and douchary with just trying to be respectful and rational. Let the mods pick up what they can do, we should all help selfpolice as board-mates to foster discussion, and generally just try to not embarrass ourselves. That's about the best shot.

I've kept my foot down on not changing it for a variety of reasons. The biggest being that, well, I look at who is main eventing or getting major screen time these days and I still see Kane, Jericho, UT, Hardys, Heyman, HHH and Shane. My second big reason is that there was something of a pretty clear split between New Generation and Attitude Era in terms of people keeping straight what was when. I'm not going to spend all my time or my mods time going through every thread in WWE saying "hmm, was this before or after they went PG? Was this before or after the Guest hosts? Was this before or after the switch from Spike back to USA? (all previous suggestions for when the "new" cut-off should be).

Random question. Since this board is affiliated with the Freakin' Awesome Network website, is there a reason why there isn't a board section for discussion pertaining to the articles & whatnot on the site?
Edit: or, and I've just realised this, is that what 'FAN talk' is meant to mean? That we discuss the website in this section?

Has there been a limit increase on the number of pics & gifs we can post?
Not trying to name anyone out of respect for their privacy, but I've noticed some people posting more than eight pics at a time, and more than two gifs in a single post. I usually try to keep the pics I post limited to 5-7, and shrink the width of them because most of the Instagram pics always stretch out the board.
I just wanted to check with the mods about this rule.
