www.wbshop.com/Warner-Archive/ARCHIVE,default,sc.html basically, warner brothers is releasing a ton of their old movies now on dvd for the first time. this means you can now get films like doc savage man of bronze, and the man who loved cat dancing! yeah none of them are really that great but hey atleast warner brothers is putting them out!

Pretty nifty, but $20 in this day and age for a standard, single disc DVD? With not even a trailer as a bonus feature?
Then again, it IS neat that more and more of these older movies are finally being released. I wonder if WB is going to release them in sets like they did with their old gangster movies.

I heard this on the radio this morning, and it seems the biggest part is left out of the discussion here:
These DVDs are being made TO ORDER. None of these movies are apparently getting in-store release and/or widespread production. You want it, they make it for you.
That's an amazing program, and IMHO it fully justifies the $20 price tag.
