Do any of you guys have any DVDs that you think are in sore need of upgrading fo whatever reason?
I'll start with "1941". I know it's kind of Steven Spielberg's dark horse, but I sorta like it! But the DVD is terrible. The sound quality is bad, and it has one of the worst transfers I've ever seen. Not to mention the fact that it's non-anamorphic.
Do you fine folks have any?

Caddyshack didn't have very good picture quality.

Tim Burton Commentary, featuretes. etc
- Lawnmower Man: Directors cut
Plus Some decent Special features
- Fright Night & Part 2
Audio Commentaries, featurettes, Trailers
- Nightmare on Elm Street 2 - Freddy's Dead
Update them like Friday the 13th because the current releases are pretty weak
- Halloween 2
Both Theatrical & TV Versions, featuretts, Trailers & Commentary

Schindler's List. I know its a long film but it can go on a single DVD now.

I would like to see The Rocketeer get a decent release. The current DVD is non-anamorphic with only passable picture and sound quality. I don't think it needs a 2 disc set or anything, just a better anamorphic transfer with a few bonus features.

I think everything needs some kind of commentary. Even if its an old movie like Wizzard of Oz, you get some modern Directors and actors to commentate on it.

It should go on one disc, it gets annoying having to put the second disc in two thirds of the way through the film. |
