Most of the "top level brands" our Aldi sells are Kroger food items. (They have some name-brand stuff but it'll cost you your soul, and arm and a leg.)

Tastykakes (already mentioned) Certain Potato Chips (Utz, Martin's, Snyder's of Hanover) Philadelphia Cream Cheese Scrapple Lebanon Bologna Sheetz/Wawa/Turkey Hill Pirogies This post really makes me wonder how Pennsylvania isnt the fattest state in the country. God we have so much good food and drinks .Infact Im drinking Big Blue A-Treat! Oh an ditto on the JITB commercials. They play them constantly and I want some! And we don't have to many Hardees up here either A-Treat has amazing cream soda, big blue, and the varied birch beers. Man, I miss having that occasionally.

Kroger is Food 4 Less, not Aldi. I miss Checkers. I saw one in Atlanta a couple months ago, and I was shocked. I thought they were all closed. I think, I could be wrong, but Culvers is a Mid West joint. And, no one, no one, other than Chicago has true Italian Beef Sandwiches, Hot Dogs, or Pizza.
