In the last match, Medusa decided she was going to take a trip to Texas for some good ol' fashioned sun-bathing. She got more than she bargained for though, as she met her match at the end of Leatherface's blade. I hope Medusa meat tastes good...
We've had to two, good, close matches so far. Let's see what happens here in Match 3.
Feast Monsters
Debut Movie: Feast
Year: 2006
I don't know much about these monsters except they are ugly, have big teeth, eat people and have sex to reproduce offspring in seconds pretty much. I think that's enough of a description for these nasty creatures. Oh yeah, apparently they are living weapons developed by the government. There are currently three Feast movies.
Little bit of a warning, this trailer is a little bloody and has some language:
Vs.
Mummy (Universal)
Debut Movie: The Mummy
Year: 1932
The old Universal Mummy series featured six movies, one of which included a cross over with Abbott and Costello. Both Boris Karloff and Lon Chaney, Jr. donned the wrap to portray The Mummy in this series, though it's probably Karloff that is known for the role the most as he was the original.
To borrow from Wikipedia, here is a brief description of what the Mummy is all about:
An Ancient Egyptian priest called Imhotep is revived when an archaeological expedition finds Imhotep's mummy and one of the archaeologists accidentally reads an ancient life-giving spell. Imhotep escapes from the archaeologists and prowls Cairo seeking the reincarnation of the soul of his ancient lover, Princess Ankh-es-en-amon. Imhotep was once mummified alive for attempting to resurrect her, and, upon finding her reincarnated, attempts to mummify her and make her his bride. In the end, she is saved when she remembers her past life and prays to the goddess Isis to save her. The young woman utters a prayer and the scroll containing the resurrection spell is burned, and Imhotep dissolved.
