If he really wants to be a heel, Tony needs to go around insulting the hometown sports team.

I hate when 24 does this. Their stupid Sprint commercials spoiled the fact that Buchanan and Chloe were going to be in this episode.

Given that when Tony "died" he didn't get the silent clock tick, I knew he was still alive.
The slight retcon fron REDEMPTION is bugging me a little bit. In the TV Movie Prequel, the First Son's friend was the one that found the info about the shady deposits and he was killed.
Why the retcon? Did the actor have scheduling problems?

I think that since the son had the briefcase and all of that, they snubbed him out and the other dude got must of gotten snubbed out as well. Though the other guy probably isn't as important to the storyline.

It's not a retcon. We just don't know the details of what happened between then and now. At the end of Redemption, Jon Voight's character was talking to his accomplice about the killing of the First Son's friend. The accomplice said the problem was contained, but then Voight said "but not eliminated" and mentioned that while the First Son doesn't have any hard evidence, he could still connect the pieces and follow to trail back to Voight. So it's assumed that in the months between Redemption and Season 7 they staged the suicide. FYI, Redemption wasn't even written until they were over halfway done filming Season 7. The producers just decided to give the audience an introduction to the situation rather than just dump the First Gentleman's investigation into our laps without any backstory.

I understand now
Side question, wasn't Jeanine Garafalo in an earlier season?

Did he make gas out of dishwasher soap?
I bet he could make an atom bomb out of orange juice and skim milk.

I think its that Walker chick, she completely got buried under dirt in a plastic bag after all. She seems dead as a dodo.

You really think they'd kill her off that soon? I dont think they use those silent countdowns for swerves.

Yeah, its strange because they only use a silent clock when a character dies. Ryan Chapelle, George Mason, Edgar Stiles, etc.
So I just put two and two together.

Maybe it's a swerve, seeing as how many complained when Tony didn't get one when he "died", and all assumed he was coming back. Now that Renee's got one, they shouldn't smurf with it, and that should be her dead.

Wonder if Jack will survive being exposed to the gas? I mean, he's survived everything else. But, naked Kiefer Sutherland to look forward to next week, yum!
