If Vince loves them so much, why do all the guys he supposedly has a hard on get so much crap thrown at them?

Rather than wonder why all those big guys have crappy gimmicks, it's interesting to realize that they are mostly talentless big guys who nonetheless have jobs and draw very nice checks from Vince, because of their size. If they were smaller, they would probably be gone from the company.
Oh, and Billy is a hoss, JR used to call him that all the time back in the New Age Outlaw days.

Giant Gonzalez gets so much crap because he simply couldn't wrestle one bit. Despite this, I like him. He's menacing with his height.

Kane has always been good, Jesus was never given a chance, Undertaker is a legend. I was gign to list good thigns about each guy.. kinda tough...
But don't hate on the guys themselves

The average mark just loves a good hoss, because they're larger than life. It's kind of hard sometimes to get behind a guy who looks like a seventh grader.

Big Show is the ultimate hoss, yet he went all of 2001 losing in tag matches, and spent most of 2002 jobbing to Jeff Hardy. Seems like Morgan's getting a good push, yet he's stuck with his stuttering gimmick. Poor Mark Henry...though I think they were trying to get rid of him with those bad storylines. |

A good hoss is always fun. My current fave is TNA's Trytan. He's kinda like Berlyn and Kurrgan had a baby.

what ii dont get is why some crap hosses stay like heidenrich and snitky (i know there proberly spelt wrong) but interesting ones leave i for one was enjoying watching mordecai. and the only good hosses in wrestling now are kane taker and abyss.

but only some. abyss is a good wrestler. morgans finisher rules. Hoyt is the next TNA champion, you can bank on it. and sometimes i just need to see someone come in and chokeslam everyone in sight, and trytan delivers.

Just remember that this is Vince McMahon, who gave his son-in-law and apparent top general HHH a necrophilia angle. And he thought it was hilarious, and people would love it. So not all crap is to bury guys a la Steamboat and Dusty. Sometimes they think we actually want to pay to see this. |
