ok guys, I figured since everyone here seems to know a little of everything., I have a question id like to see if someone here can help!
HERES THE DEAL
Im wanting to get dish in my upstairs bedroom, because i finally got around to arrange it instead of jsut sleeping on my downstairs couch..... I have a DISH 662 Dual Tuner HD DVR Receive downstairs hooked up to my 50 inch Sony HDTV....but im also wanting to get dish on my little ass 20 inch standard defition tv I have up stairs in my bedroom..
I dont care about only being able to watch hd on one i know that, im jsut wanting the easiest way to have dish coming out of my tv up here..
Do I run a coax cable from the back of the 622 receiver, all the way upstairs? That prolly wouldnt work cause there is no way i could like drill a hole in the ceiling or anything like that....Would I have to just basically run the cable from the back of my receiver downstairs, all the way up the stairs and then plug it into my tv up here?...
On the side of my house I have a little switch thing where the coax downstairs is hooked up to, with extra inputs.. can I just hook a coax up to it...screw it in, run it alont my roof, maybe thru my window (cant drill because I rent) and try it that way?
I really hope you guys understand what im trying to do.. I want to be able to watch my dish on my upstairs tv...I have a dual tuner Receiver

Not 100% sure on this. From what I know, you'll need a second receiver for your small TV, unless you fancy runnin' downstairs to change the channel or watching whatever happens to be on downstairs.
Sounds like can run a coaxial cable from the dish to your other TV.
If you try splitting the signal, you'll likely end up not getting a pile of channels. It DOES work, but, not really, know what I mean?
