Intriguing, but it doesn't make the movie any less amazing for me.
"SHERIFF...release my buddy!"
*poked from behind with knife*
"Aach...release the prisoner!"

Most companies reuse animation. It saves time, and gets the job done. Disney ain't the only ones to do this.

I remember a (bad) cartoon called the Kangoos whose episode were pretty much 90% recycled animations, without even any retouching. It was so bad even my 12 years old self realized the laziness of the whole thing. One thing though, since they used different characters, they had to redrawn the scenes completely, so I don't get the point of recycling the movements in that case.

Reusing Animation, also saves money, since you're not animating a new scene, but taking a predone animated scene, and pasting new cels over it. Disney wasn't a big fan of reusing animation, but when your pressed for time, and your budget is low, you have to resort to it. Reusing Animations is still done today.

Speaking of reused animations:
can someone tell me how many times did they reuse the Ambulance scene in the Simpsons?

Speaking of reused animations: can someone tell me how many times did they reuse the Ambulance scene in the Simpsons? I wouldn't know but I always found that hilarious. I always loved when in series 7-10 they'd use like 10 second generic clips like that from the earlier seasons. The contrast in animation was always amusing.

I know people reuse animation... however, this is Disney, the premier animation company in the world, reusing it for cinematic features. I can even forgive the Snow White theft, but stealing footage from their previous two animated features, The Jungle Book and the Aristocrats, is just silly.

Well, in defense to Little John and Baloo, weren't they voiced by the same guy? yes, Phil Harris did the voice for both Baloo and Little John (as well as Thomas O'Malley in The Aristocats)
