Now, let me start off by saying I had no idea they did, but several people have told me so, so don't shoot this messenger if you feel different. But stuff like 'Love Like Winter' and 'This Celluloid Dream' are so damn catchy, I even have them as ringers on my phone. I think the part I like best is how the other band mates join in, just feels like a throw-back and makes me enjoy the songs that much more. Do you guys think AFI's new stuff is good, or what else should I listen too?
The first song of theirs I liked:

Sing for the Sorrow is possibly my favorite album from them but I found December Underground is probably my least favorite album. It was just kind of boring and flat.

I haven't listened to any full albums, just random songs, so I appreciate the input!

They didn't sell out. They're just making the music they wanna make. People are just mad because they're not making 20,000 more versions of Black Sails in the Sunset.
Seriously, I think their last three CDs are better than the rest of their library. It's all amazing, but on the real, nothing so far beats Art of Drowning, Sing the Sorrow, or Decemberunderground for me.
Can't wait until Crash Love comes out later this year. I'm way excited.

Sing The Sorrow is my favourite of theirs too. "The Leaving Song (Pt 2)" is awesome.

No leaks so far, unfortunately. I'll keep you posted if I run into anything though.

Cool cool, if I can;t make it to the Offspring this summer maybe I'll see what their tour schedule is later on. I go to like one concert every two years, if that.

I definitely recommend checking out AFI live. They're f***ing spectacular. I'm hoping to see them again this year as well.

I just like AFI in general. Good music.
Of course, I think Davey was better-looking with the devil's lock haircut, but he's a fabulous glamour dude too.

If I ever have to get my hair cut short again, I'm gonna try to wear it in a variant of that, even if I have to keep the rest of it short and literally straighten the bangs. But yeah, AFI is good in general. Screw people who say bands "sold out".

My favorite AFI albums are Black Sails in the Sunset and Art of Drowning. Both are them stray from their hardcore punk roots for something a bit more melodic, but they still have a pretty punk-ish sound. Sing the Sorrow moves away from that even more, and Decemberunderground more or less abandons that completely. Personally, I really don't like Decemberunderground all that much. Probably my second least favorite album of theirs, though I like "Endlessly, She Said" and "The Killing Lights" quite a bit.
The best of their hardcore punk albums are Very Proud of Ya and Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes. Answer That and Stay Fashionable isn't all that good, either, and my least favorite of theirs.
They also have some really good EP's. And they are a really awesome live band, though I haven't seen them in a few years.
And if you like the more electronic-ish sound Decemberunderground has, check out Blaqk Audio. It's Davey's and Jade's side project.

Sing The Sorrow is my favourite of theirs too. "Girls not Grey" is awesome. Changed for me. They didn't sell out. Everyone says they sold out because now they can't walk up to someone and tell them about this cool new band and look like their just cool as hell.

Maybe they didn't sell out.
They just started making music that was more radio friendly, and, in a totally unrelated event, started miraculously selling more records than ever before.
I'm sure the two had nothing to do with each other.
C'mon.....
Hey, I'm not one to get on anybody's case for wanting to cash a paycheck. That's cool with me.
But don't let ANYONE tell you the last couple of albums rocked nearly as hard as Black Sails or the Art of Drowning.
Switch record labels, soften your sound a bit to appeal to radio, and sell a bazillion more records. That's what happened, and I'm totally cool with them doing so, just don't feed me garbage about "artistic expression". That's all I ask.
Most of the people that say they didn't sell out and are just doing what they want started listening to them after all of it happened. I know my old friends that were AFI fans back in the day aren't cool with them now.
But we all envy their bank accounts!
