Tons of episodes of a bunch of TV shows? For free? Not even having to sign up? ...I don't trust it.

no catch so far as I know. I've had it for a while now.
My one complaint about it is that when I'm searching for SNL skits on it, they seem to be very very limited in which ones they have. Last I checked, even the "cowbell" one wasn't there, and you'd figure that'd be a prerequisite.

There's commercials. And you have to sign up to watch any mature shows (It's Always Sunny, etc.). Those are the only caveats so far.
Besides it turning our brains into goo, of course.

Well, it has little blips of advertising. So as long as you still have to watch some sponsorship it is a win win for all involved.
They get to expand their market and we get to watch what we want, when we want.

Some of their searches are a bit misleading too.... I did a search for some Intervention episodes and it directed me to the A&E site which no longer had that particular episode up.

They get to expand their market and we get to watch what we want, when we want. As long as its recent, but not too recent. Damn new Hulu sucks compared to last year Back before this marketing push, they had dozens of episodes for each show up, now its just last 5 and maybe a smattering from another season if you're lucky on all my favs.

My only complaint is that you can't skip commercials. But they're only 15-30 seconds in length, so no biggie.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. I decided to check it out, though, and I'm liking it.

It brands itself on every video and has annoying adevertising. That and few episodes of many shows.

I've been using it for a good while and I enjoy it. It's not "perfect" but it was designed the way it runs on purpose. They don't want to compete against DVD releases, at least new ones. Also, they have some issues to deal with from TV companies and studios. Like I know on the Good Eats page, it has a few clips of episodes and says they've been continuously requesting full episodes from Food Network, but all they can provide as of now is clips.
The commercials don't really bother me much. Although, I mark some when I get the chance to watch a longer commercial/movie trailer and then get the content uninterrupted.

It's all part of an evil scheme to take over the world. Eliza Dushku could sell adult diapers and I'd eagerly buy them... just sayin'. An evil army of Eliza Dushkus? Sign me up for that.
