For the past year I have been getting a wirless signal from my mom's house without anyproblem whatsoever. I am still getting a signal with no problem. I have not changed my internet viewing habits at all. All of a sudden my older sister is now living at home while husband is working away, and she is with child. She come up to me the other day and asks me what have I been looking at online, because on my moms computer it is showing that someone is looking at illicit material. Now why would just all of a sudden after all of this time something pop up on her computer? Is that even possible, especially since the two computers are in two different houses? They also said it was something to do with a virus protection program. Is it something on her end, or does she have yet another one of her countless viruses and I need to fix the computer again?

Just be a human and tell them you look at pornography. The first step is admitting you have a problem.......

I would say that it's something on their end. If you're using a wireless network, each computer hooks up through the wireless router (at least that's what I'm thinking) and should be separate from one another ...
I would suggest that if someone isn't looking at illicit material in her house, it's probably some sort of adware/spyware/malware that is trying to get people to freak and buy their programs. I'd make sure that the computer has it's firewall installed and running first of all. Then I would check to see that the pop up blocker is working (most browsers come with one). I would then see if their antivirus is up to date.

Hence the fact that I need to restore the damn thing (theirs) every three months.
