Well last week had a few shenanigans but this week seemed a bit more honest and evenly matched. Plus the demonstrations were awesome.
Samurai has: Katana Naga Japanese Named Bow Studded 30 lbs war club Steel and Leather Armor with blow deflecting helmet.
Viking has Big Axe Sword Big Throwing Spears Big Shield Chainmail Armor with Helmet.
Who Wins!?
And next week on Spike we see the timeless battle mortal enemies:
Ninja Vs. ...Spartan?

One on one fight out in the fields or in a cleared arena, a samurai would chop a viking up in a second. Problem with that is, vikings almost never fought in such enviroments. If it's in the woodlands or a similar, narrow crowded and dark place, the viking would win.

After tonight I smell fix. How? These first two episodes, the winner was the one with the bow and arrow. If both guys fighting are even or close to even in close quarters combat, it will come down to the range combat, and the bow and arrow, bar none, is the best long range weapon you can have as a warrior. Hell, even in the day and age of advance guns and such, nearly all special forces troops are tought to use a bow and arrow. The Samurai had the range and accuracy, that's all. Next week will be the most close and unpredictable match yet. The Ninja, who doesn't have any really deadly weapon, just tools of annoyance vs. the Spartan, a trained killing machine with only 3 items...a spear, a short sword, and their shield.

Since when do Vikings not use bows, and arrows? Of course the Guy with the more deadly long range weapon is going to win the fight in a simulator, but Vikings used bows all the time one of there main battle tactics was to using flaming arrows to burn down enemy garrisons and villages.

Oh, I know that, but they didn't use the Viking bow for this. They instead used the much more cumbersome, but deadly if it hit, Viking Long Spear.

Ninja vs Spartan isn't a fair comparison. Spartans' military strength was in their ability to work as a team, while the Ninja rarely worked as anything but an individual.
And you forgot the Spartans' fourth weapon...BALLS!

Spartans may have worked best while in formation, but their society and training made them pretty bad-ass individuals, so I wouldn't count one out just because he didn't have his buddies to back him up.

And you forgot the Spartans' fourth weapon...BALLS! Yeah...I mean, first off it comes down to what weapons they pick. I wonder what they will pick for the Spartan's 4th weapon cause time and again only 3 things have been mentioned, the spear, shield, and short sword. As for the Ninja, there is a long list of weapons, but hardly any of them are deadly. The 3 main "deadly" weapons are the Kusarigama(sickle scythe with weighted chain), Kunai, and the Ninjato(the sword Ninja use). Then there are the annoyance weapons, such as shuriken, darts, and caltrops. But from the ad, it looks like the weapons they will use for the Ninja are the Ninjato, the Kama/Kusarigama, the darts, and shuriken. Though also in the commercial they show a clip of a ninja throwing some kind of powder into the eyes of someone. Hell they could use the entire gauntlet of Ninja weapons, because unlike say a Samurai, Gladiator, or Viking, warrior classes with WAY too many weapons for a single warrior to carry, the Ninja could physically carry all the weapons they have...because most of them are small.

They never counted any other spear as two weapons yet, and basically all spears can be used in the same ways. My guess is they either pull out a 4th item that many people don't know about, or they count the helmet as a weapon.

Maybe they'll include that with the helmet.

It is going to come down to who is faster and can get in the death blow with their trademark weapon faster.
