One of the laws (the many, many, many laws) of Japanese immigration is that, in order to become a permanent Japanese citizen, all immigrants, even Westerners, must legally change their names from foreign ones to a Japanese name of their choosing.
Therefore, if you were to move to Japan and therefore had to choose what Japanese name to be called by, what would you change it to?
As a psychology major, I'd get a kick out of one day handing out my meishi and introducing myself as Shinji Ikari, professional psychological therapist. ;D

Well, after playing all those Samurai Warriors games, I'd probably just randomly pick a character's first name and a character's last name and go with that.

With Shinji Ikari out, I'd probably go ahead and go with Kouji Akira (If you know Go Nagai name you will know where i got it from)
