Just read at nme.com that Phil Spector has been found guilty of second degree murder. Guess the ramones, john lennon and almost every other musician who felt Spectors wrath really dodged a bullett with that one, literally.

Wow I thought they found him guilty a long time ago The first trial ended up in a mistrial. This is his second trial, with a lot less hoopla than the first go round. Note: the 2nd degree murder charge holds a sentence of 15 years to life, and the gun charge holds a sentence of up to 3 years.

Wait, who's this guy again? One of the greatest, and most influential music producers in all of pop music. He also happens to be insane. EDIT: Just to give an example of how unsurprising this is, when Phil Spector was producing Death of a Ladies Man, he reportedly threatened Leonard Cohen with a crossbow.

He also tried to "break" the Ramones. He spent nearly 2 hours making Johnny Ramone play the opening chord to Rock and Roll High School again and again. One night he even dragged them all down to his studio at gunpoint and then spent the whole night serenading them with the same song repeatedly.

I didnt think celeberties could be found guilty of killing their spouses.
He must have had a worse alibi than Robert Blake's "when my wife was being shot in the dark alley, I was back at the restatraunt getting my gun which is the same caliber as the one that killed her"
