Damn kids today, they don't have to work to get their porn, they don't even need a physical collection. Back in my day we were happy with a couple of magazines and a video passed around school, now the kids even have favourite genres.

I'm sure you know what collection I mean. Oh, I know what you mean. My shoehorn collection. Mom just cried and Dad was all like, "Dammit, why can't you horde porn like a normal boy?!"

Yeah, when I was 12 she found a magazine I had, threw a fit, and told my father to go talk to me. He brought me to the pond, told me not to have that kind of stuff because my mother will go crazy, then said, "You made me put up with this stuff and didn't even let me have a look at this?"

Everything is password protected
EDIT: Now that I think of it. I don't actually have a collection. Everything comes straight from the internet and it's removed when no longer needed.

No but she knew about it. Dad was the one who supplied the tapes when he was cleaning house.

I won't say being a girl makes this a question I can't answer, but no my parents never found my collection, since I didn't have one... however I did find my father's "collection"... [awkward].

I found my dad's "collection" as well. And it wasn't even well-hidden, lol. Which begs the questions, do all of our dad's have collections??? Is it a requirement when you become a dad to have a "collection"? Or is it simply just leftover stuff from when you were single that you said you'd throw out but didn't?

nope by the time i was old enough to bye the stuff my mom had died,
think i just killled the mood of the thread.
though when i was about 14 my sisters found some questionable cookies on the computer coupled with all the time they'd come to the room with the computer and the door would be locked and the computer just shut off.

Unfortunately, yes.
My mom complained about the hole it burnt through the floor into the basement and the purple vines spawning around the house. But it wasn't hurting anyone.

I think it's because porn is just an "habit" most grown men don't totally drop. Marriage and/or fatherhood may change the routine, but the vast majority of males don't ever stop watching porn... So our dads' "collections" are just the result of them keeping on buying, taping and watching porn. And yes, I know... the idea of Dad enjoying some porn is a bit unsettling I guess many of our kids in the future will happen to find our Porn Folder, instead of Porn Drawer/Shelf/Box.

My dad didn't, but he did have the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue with Paulina Porizkova on the cover from 1984 (I just dated myself). During my high school days there was no internet and I lived in a small town so if you bought a skin rag from the store everybody would know about it. I had to use whatever I could find in either People magazine or wait until February for the Swimsuit Issue and use my imagination. Personally, I think if I had a kid and I found his stash I'd be relieved he's not out banging a bunch of skanks and making me a young grandfather.

I know my stepdad has a collection, and I find most of it cruddy. So yeah, its almost a requirement for people that haven't been enlightened to the Interwebz. I know for a fact that when I buy my laptop my time is going to be evenly spread between wrestling, music downloads, and porn downloads just so by the time I hit 21 or have a live in girlfriend its no longer necessary.

Nope but since we had one of those big ass satelite dishes we had access to ALOT of it so it was recorded at like 4 am when no one was supposed to be up.
Between four boys no one know exactly who recorded what. But I never got busted by my parents. On limewire my bro had access to my shared folders so he saw some stuff that I downloaded from there. That was two years ago and the closest i've been to have gotten busted besides him finding Sables 2nd Playboy mag which I bought.

Yes they have. It sucked. Especially how they found stuff my girlfriend (at the time) did for me. Yeesh.
We don't speak of it anymore, but meh, I've found far worse of theirs. >.>
I keep most of my stuff well hidden these days.

I never had one, and the house is too small to even think about one. I watch the occassional video when the parents are up for the night, but nothing too outrageous.

Yes when I moved out of home she found them cleaning my old room. Oh yeah the moving issue. Here are some tips for anyone that needs to move 'things' from one place to the other discreetly: - Decide whether you want to keep them or not. I recommend throwing them out and starting a new after the move. When throwing them out... Do not throw them in your bin. Wait for bin night and throw them in a bin in another street.
- If you want to take them with you when you move. Put it at the the bottom of a box and place other things over the top (Books are good). And remember what box you put them in.
- Make sure it's you and only you that handles the box with your merchandise in it.
I used to have vhs videos from 13-20. One thing I did was compile the videos onto a blank tape, cutting out the bad crap, then I would cover over the master tapes labels, and use them for blank tapes in themselves MAKING SURE to record well past the credits, and burn the boxes they came in. My mom honestly couldn't give a **** after I was 15. My dad (if he knew) probably would of cared a hell of a lot more if I had play girl under the bed Seriously. In todays world where you have bit torrents and forums with rapidshare and other downloader programs AND all you need is a nero cd burner, there is really no reason to be stashing stuff under your bed if your not supposed to have it. Keep it all on blank discs.

Yep. She found my VHS collection while I was at school one day. I had the stuff well hidden too, so she had to have been snooping. My mom was a religious zealot, so of course she flipped her lid that her 14-year-old son had softcore porn. She reacted as if she'd discovered a dead body in my room.
