DC is proud to announce that The Watchmen are returning this summer in the all new comic from Jeph Loeb and Rob Liefeld:
The New Watchmen!
It is the year 2009 and Adrian Veidt has put together an all new team of crime fighters.
The Comedian 2.0: Now a part cybernetic soldier with a mysterious past.
Night Spectre:The child of Nite Owl and Silk Spectre,Sally Dreiberg joins so she can uncover the conspiracy behind the disappearance of her parents.
Ink Blot: A wise cracking teen vigilante.
And thats all I got so far.
Anyone else have any shitty ideas for this?

Rob Liefield can't write The New Watchmen unless it has the words "BLOOD", "DEATH", and "STRIKE" involved somehow. Adrian has to clone a new Bubastis, make it half demon and call it BLOODDEATHSTORMKITTY for the team to be complete!

In some way which the true outcome won't be revealed for years, the entire X-Force team is tragically killed off.
So, a new group of mutants with...."less than super" abilities takes up the X-Force mantle, in the name of superherodom and superstardom!
...no, wait, that would be f***ing stupid.

Geoff Johns writes stories called 'JSA: All Stars' and 'Day of Judgment' Quiet, you. I'd love to avoid the Liefeld cliche, but I'm not sure I can... okay, I'll go with Fabian Nicieza art for a Roy Thomas version of The Authority.

"Kitty loves Colossus" as written by Joss Whedon, in which Peter's family are all brought back to life by magical deus ex machina, Kitty acts like she's still 14 and all they can talk about is their perfect, schmoopy love in increasingly annoying Buffy-speak. Peter Wisdom is crying in a corner somewhere.

After we finally learn through years of build up of Wolverine's true origin, history, present, future, death...everything. We cut to the next panel of Patrick Duffy waking up saying "it was all a dream?" Then he reaches under the sheet, and pulls out a wolverine mask...or was it? NEXT ISSUE Patrick Duffy searches for answers, and wonders why dallas was ever canceled.

I'd love to avoid the Liefeld cliche, but I'm not sure I can... okay, I'll go with Fabian Nicieza art for a Roy Thomas version of The Authority. Will there be big guns and small feet, plus utility belts with lots of pouches?

I seem to recall Fabian is a writer not an artist.

Liefeld would give The Engineer pouches. yes, the woman whose costume is basically a skintight layer of liquid metal... she'd have pouches.

that'd probably make demonstating Swift's powers very difficult, seeing how they rely on her flying at top speed and tearing you apart with the talons in her feet.
