Actually, Carlito's kind of an odd case for me. While his character is AWESOME (even if it is a Razor Ramon rip-off), they don't let him put on good matches in the ring. They insist on his ring-work being that of a coward who can't really wrestle and he has to cheat like nuts to win. He's had one good match, and that was his second match against Rey Mysterio. Other than that, he barely gets in any offense and then cheats to get a victory. this is the problem with safe style... while it does protect the workers alot more than "non-safe" style... it dosen't allow guys to get over in a way they should... most heels now are like that (with the exception of HHH, snitsky, and other "hosses") which is why i think being a face in wwe is alot more lucritive.

I think some fans will never be happy and they just love to bash things. I am disappointed by some things the WWE does and there were periods like parts of 2002 and 2003 where i found it hard to watch, but things have been looking good since last year and i'm enjoying what i see now. It's not perfect but wrestling never has been. No matter what promotion you look at, there has been crap and this will never change. That doesn't stop me from enjoying things that they do right.
People seem to want to be like Scott Keith and other so called experts who bash almost everything. If they are so smart and know how to run a promotion, they should be bookers. If they were i bet their product would fail. I agree that instead of complaining about what sucks, its more interesting to provide a solution. All the bashing is getting old.

i agree with everything my good buddy (thats right spike, you are my "good buddy" and didnt even know it... kebbin marks UNITE!!) spike had to say... i've been reading for more than a year now... and i've been posting since the old board and i remember how much this place used to feel like a family... hell, there was even a little humor in the WWE Current section now and then... but this place has become a giant whine fest... now i have nothing against bashing HHH hell, i've done it a few times myself... but even i got bored with it after a while... im so sick of people jumping on bandwagons... "i hate cena's belt"..."i hate viscera"..."i love benoit"..."jericho is being held down" etc...etc...etc... look, there is nothing wrong with stating your opinion... but when you do so over... and over... and over again without saying anything different... then it's not debating, or even DISCUSSING wrestling... then it becomes like you have an agenda... never come into a discussion with an agenda, then you loose all chance of seeing things from another person's perspective... and that is crippling when discussing something (especialy wrestling) so i guess, in short, this place is still my favorite place on teh net... but that is probably because i dont come to the WWE section that often anymore... wow, my fingers hurt... Sanchez, I'm your buddy... if we Sully marks don't stick together, we'll get murdered by these haters. That's what I'm saying, in a nutshell... this particular forum seems to have degenerated into a pseudo-flamefest, something that the WC boards have never been... there have been mild arguements, and the occasional 'time out' for posters... but 'twas all in good fun.

While it's true the safe-style hinders nearly everyone's moveset, they don't allow Carlito to get in ANY offense. Is his moveset so complex that everything he has falls under "unsafe"? If so, than I honestly think he should go back to just hosting the Cabanna until he can learn to work "WWE style." (Good God I can't believe I actually wrote that.) Otherwise, much as I hate to suggest this, there's always ROH, TNA, or Japan.

Okay, I admit, I've done a little Triple H bashing in my day, but not everything I've posted has been negative. I thought Raw was pretty good last night and was a step in the right direction (except for the ending of the Benoit/Edge match. Yeech!!). Victoria beating the heck out of the Divas was a high spot for me.
I am totally willing to discuss things, if people want.

I have been waiting for a mod to do a post like this for a week or so now.
I will admit that here lately I have allowed a few things to get me all worked up when it should just slide off into a bottomless pit to be forgotten but thats what happens when you feel passionate about a certain thing. Me, I love wrestling .plain and simple. I really dont care who it is as long as its a good and entertaining match. I will enjoy it. But i really dont enjoy certain things being rammed down my throat by the business or other fans of the business as well.
So this is a public apalogy to all of those who i have offended lately. Im sorry.

No matter what they do, people will always hate on WWE, HHH, John Cena and anyone else because that is what is popular.

Im sorry. Hey, it's all good... as I say, I wasn't posting this as a mod. I have actually shied away from this forum, as I find it wild and dangerous, and I don't need that. I've done a bit of modding here and there in this forum, but in general, I've saved it for the Wrestlecrap section. And Phoenix... you were by no means the worst offender here. And I'm your favourite poster. So it's all good.

I must say, while I completely respect Spike's post, I'm a little surprised to see it. This is one of only two message boards that I have ever gone to regularly. I can't really say I've made any "good buddies" here, but I started going to the old board about a year and a half, maybe two years ago, after I left a different message board because I got tired of continual and unmoderated flaming. Everyone seemed so much more respectful at the 'Crap, and I actually enjoyed posting on the message board, instead of just considering it a cheap but obnoxious alternative to wrestling magazines. I guess I haven't been a 'Crapper nearly as long as some, and like I said, I was used to seeing a lot more shitheads, so I guess I don't see it quite the same way. In fact, I've actually felt like in recent weeks, by and large, people have gotten a little more positive around here. I guess maybe Spike's post is just part of that. Wow, this probably my longest post ever, hope it all made sense.

I think that they wwe is doing the best job they have in a while, Triple H does a great job each and every week same thing can be said for John Cena. They go out there and entertain the crowd, it doesn't matter if we like them or not. They are making us feel the way we are by their actions look in the ring.
Take this for an example, last night victoria beat the holy hell out of 3 divas and kicked the king in the balls, something we all were waiting for, and the crowd, myself included went totally ballistic for us. so what if the writers wanted us to boo her out of the arena, thats not what happened, we all have our own opinions about what goes on. so what if what i am writing makes no sense whatsoever.
In closing I feel WWE is doing a great job.
