Are these movies worth checking out?
I heard that Hells Rejects was a sequel to House Of 1000 Corpses.

I liked them. It's Devil's Rejects. Pretty graphic somewhat disturbing subject matter. Rejects has a great ending.

House of 1,000 Corpses was complete shit. However, Devil's Rejects was actually pretty watchable. Had no regrets like I did with Ho1000C.

Devil's Rejects has DDP. Not that it will make or break it for you in terms of deciding.

House Of 1000 Corpses is one of the worst movies Ive ever seen. It was like a bad Texas Chainsaw Massacre ripoff. I hated it so much that I refused to watch Devil's Rejects.

Yeah I absolutely detested House of 1000 Corpses. However, Devils Rejects is one of my favorite movies. To me, it like makes you almost root for the villains. And the end sequence is great.

I for one loved House of 1000 Corpses, and Devil's Rejects is pretty good. Definitely worth a watch.

DEVIL'S REJECTS disturbed me to teh point where it took me a couple months to feel clean again. Good movie, very enjoyable, but just made me feel dirty.
1000 CORPSES gives you background on the characters
REJECTS has DDP and Trejo as bad ass bounty hunters (who deserve a spin-off movie)
The REJECTS DVD does show the detail Zombie puts in his movies. Non Spoiler: There's a scene where a local talk show is on in the background. You only see a couple minutes of it. An extra shows the entire show (with commercial breaks. Well not commercial breaks, but old school syndicated shows "insert ad here" slates). It's why I'm looking forward to the H2 DVD (Wierd Al)

I wasn't fond of House of 1000 Corpses at all, but The Devil's Rejects was pretty awesome. That seems to be the general consensus no matter where you go.

House Of 1000 Corpses is one of the worst movies Ive ever seen. It was like a bad Texas Chainsaw Massacre ripoff. I hated it so much that I refused to watch Devil's Rejects. I second this. Rob Zombie's crap film-making makes 1000 Corpses like torture for me. And his obsession with hillbillies needs to end.

I was the opposite. I REALLY wanted to see the villains die after all the horrible things they did. But the ending IS awesome.

I wasn't fond of House of 1000 Corpses at all, but The Devil's Rejects was pretty awesome. That seems to be the general consensus no matter where you go. This is what I hear, I saw house, thought it was very very very awful, but never saw devil rejects yet, so can't say on that, but most people love it, espicially compared to house of 1000 corpses

FISH BOY!
I love House, but I can see why people wouldn't like it, since it does have that MTV-styled echo of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (which is one of the reasons I love it, but eh, different strokes). Rejects shows an artistic growth, but it's not really a "horror" film necessarily. It's more of an art-house exploitation film that seeks to have the viewer identify with the murderous characters without the need of point-of-view shots indicative of so many films in the horror genre.
