Who would you say are the most successful of the ECW originals? Or anyone who at least competed in ECW for at 6 months?

I'd say Rob Van Dam.

Well, the six month rule you stated eliminates Jericho, Benoit, and Guerrero. That said, Rob Van Dam and the Dudleyz had far more success in WWF/E than any of the other ECW alumni. EDIT: Yeah, no one remembers all those tag matches the Dudleyz had with the Hardyz and Edge & Christian. Also, no one remembers Rob Van Dam being a grand-slam champion.

How long was Mick Foley in ECW? If longer than 6 months, then it has to be him.
Otherwise, I guess it would be RVD and the Dudleyz.

Are the Dudleys, or rather Team 3D, the only wrestlers/tag team that had success outside of the WWF/E?

Are the Dudleys, or rather Team 3D, the only wrestlers/tag team that had success outside of the WWF/E? Road Warriors? Steiners? Anyway, Tazz has done damn good for himself.

Rob Van Dam - Got both the WWE ECW title and the WWE title, aswell as the tag team titles and IC title. The Dudley Boyz - Had numorous tag titles and had memorable matches and moments. Tommy Dreamer - he's been employed ever since the invasion, i'd say hes doing a good job... Tazz - See Dreamer

Lance Storm did pretty well in WCW in the dying days. Perry Saturn and Raven did well in WCW and, to a lesser extent, WWE.

Foley spent more than 6 months in ECW. So its him by about 10 million miles.

If we're going for people who were truly ECW ORIGINALS shouldn't it be Jimmy Snuka?

I think Mick Foley and especially Terry Funk shouldn't really count since they came to ECW already pretty well known (very well known for Terry Funk's sake). Out of the wrestler's who first reach fame in ECW, then Rob Van Dam is probably the most successful followed by the Dudleys.

The Dudleys, Benoit, Guerrero and Van Dam would be my picks. Benoit surely has the most mainstream name recognition though... for the wrong reasons.
