Does anyone think they're gonna continue jobbing him out week after week. There has to be a point where he starts winning matches if he's going to challenge for the title. Does anyone envisage him going on a winning streak at some point?

Wasn't Flair losing left and right before McMahon said his next loss would be his last?
With Christian now on ECW.. it makes the Tommy Dreamer angle seem less likely to be what most of us would want.

It would be fitting if he kept on losing and never got close to getting a title match before retiring.

I think Dreamer is very close to being done. He fits in the new ECW like a piece of corn fits in a bowl of peas.

I think they were planning on turning his streak around and giving him the title before he retires with the belt.
...but now, I think they've given up on it and he'll just end up retiring as is.

He was never going to win the belt. It was seemingly going to end in a glorious bloody hardcore match for the title at the Extreme Rules PPV with Tommy losing, putting a new star like Swagger over, and retiring with class. But with Christian entering the mix I'm not how they're going to do this.
One idea I did have with this losing streak was that he'll be on the brink of just giving up long before his deadline, but then a veteran like Finlay will counsel him and give him a big pep talk to bring back the 'old' Tommy Dreamer, and he would go on a rampage and start winning so that he gains respect and gets his title shot before losing and putting over the new star of the 'New ECW'.

I can see maybe Christian winning the belt, but then they go back to Dreamer and he challenges for the belt up to Extreme Rules, only to lose there and retire.

It's VERY sad that when Dreamer is done....the last connection to the old ECW dies as well. I hope they eventually just change the name of the show to "WWE Extreme" or something like that, rather than continue to piss on the memory of wrestling's "punk movement."

They don't have to change the name at all because they own ECW and if Heyman was a good businessman, they would've still been in business today so their legacy wouldn't be tarnished as some see it.

They don't HAVE to, but they really should. And Heyman being a bad businessman isn't a good enough excusing of what WWE did to ECW.
