So I have Netflix on my 360, and I saw that they had Porky's available for streaming so I gave it a watch for the first time in about 15 years. I can't believe how well this movie has help up over time, its still as funny now as it was back in the day. Now there have been alot of challengers to this movie over the years, some good, alot of them bad. So my fellow crappers, what do you think about Porky's? Is it still The Godfater of teen sex comedies?

I disagree on one point as I don't think it's aged well at all, but it's still worth watching.

Ive seen all 3 Porky's but I dont remember them well and I only remember certain scenes. The only thing that I didnt like was that it took place in the 50's not the 80's.

The sequels aren't worth watching at all. Just wanted to mention that for any of those who haven't seen them yet, but are considering doing so.

I saw Wolverine last night and there was a scene right after Logan escapes that reminded me of Porky's

It's funny (to me at least) that Bob Clark directed Porky's, Black Christmas and A Christmas Story. Seem like 3 vastly different films, yet he made them all work.

It's my ex-wife's favorite film, so I think I'm contractually obligated to hate it. Can I get a ruling on this? Is there a Man Law that set precedent?

I didn't like this movie much. I'd rank Fast Times at Ridgemont High, American Pie, Van Wilder, and a lot of others ahead of it in that genre.

I love dogs, and I still think that sounds odious.

I love karate, and I don't like the sound of that movie.
Sounds like it was created with the "Direct to DVD" title generator - like Castle of Thursday, and Sambo Ape.

while undoubtedly a classic ( the bit where the teacher is laughing when samantha is making fire engine noises still cracks me up) american pie is the go-to teen sex comedy.

PORKY'S still rules the roost, with FAST TIMES, AMERICAN PIE, and to a lesser extent VAN WILDER all trailing behind it.
