Well, there's actually quite a few reasons, but I think this scene might be my favourite of the bunch. While on trial, when confronted with his crimes Lex Luthor simply states... Something about that just sums up Lex so well for me for some reason, simple and elegant. All Star Superman is probably one of the best Superman stories ever told by the way, kind of a Silver Age story in a Modern Age World, Grant Morrison story telling at his best.

It is great. I'm waiting for both trades to come out in paperback rather than hardcover, and then I'll own em.

Enjoyed the series, but Luthor just seemed like a bigger douche than usual. But then thats his character, so good for him.

All-Star Superman #6 is proof positive that Silver Age storytelling has a place in the modern era.

The whole damn story is just beatiful, teared up a bit at the Clarrk's last line to Lois before he headed off to keep the sun from exploding and seeing him in the center of the sun keeping it alive.

Great series... I can't wait to see what Morrison and Quitely are going to do with Batman and Robin.

Great series... I can't wait to see what Morrison and Quitely are going to do with Batman and Robin. What the hell happened to Robin's head? Though, I do give them credit for getting Batman's trunks right, since historically, that would be what they're supposed to look like, rather than "underwear". Athletes of the time didn't just wear tights, as they thought it was rather indecent to have an extremely obvious outline of their junk.

I don't keep up with the books, so I assume Daimian Wayne was born with a condition that caused his head to grow to MODOK proportions while also causing his neck to atrophy to the size of a Sharpie marker?

I'm waiting for the Absolute Edition to be released. A story like this fits that format perfectly.
I couldn't help but read #10 though. Everyone was telling me how amazing it was. I finally gave in and read it two weeks later.

He has a condition called "beingdrawnbyfrankquitelyitis" Yup. I've mentioned before, but Quitely really is a strange artist-inasmuch as some of his stuff looks amazing, and then some just makes his characters look like lumpy oatmeal--and ya never know which version you'll get.
