Such an impulse purchase. I got the bundle that comes with Ratchet & Clank and National Treasure 2 (ugh) for 179.00, and a 1 gig memory stick. I also picked up Madden 06, Tiger Woods 06 on the cheap, and also got Buzz: Master Quiz. I also picked up a starter kit, and UMD for the first Terminator movie that was only 4.99 new.
The PSP doesnt seem to be too popular these days thanks to the DS, but I like my little PSP so far, plus I can connect it with my PS3 and stuff like that. I probably wont get too many more games for it unless I find them cheap, I will pick up Rock Band unplugged though. So is anyone else happy with their PSP? Anyone have any advice for it?

I LOVE my PSP. Also, dude, you got it all wrong, the PSP isn't losing popularity, it is GAINING popularity.
The joke about the system from 2005 to 2007 was that the only games on it either sucked or where ports of PS2 games.
In 2007, however, the system started to get awesome. And then, the PSP-2000 came out in 2007 and the sales shot through the roof!
The games are getting better and in more quantity as well.
Basically the PSP has had new life since 2007.
As for advice...I dunno.

Loco Roco is really good, Crisis Core and GTA were decent, haven't really bothered with mine since they came out though, I may have to dust it off and buy God of war.

God of War is great. The Wipeout and Killzone games are good.
I rarely use my PSP because I don`t do an awful lot of travelling. If I'm in the house I'll use the PS3. It`s still a good little console though.

For games, I HIGHLY suggest the following:
- Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII - God of War: Chains of Olympus - Daxter - Tekken: Dark Resurrection - Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories - Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions - Patapon - Wipeout Pure - Killzone: Liberation - Parappa the Rapper - Silent Hill: 0rigins - Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops - Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles - Loco Roco - Resistance: Retribution

Yeah, the PSP has been selling pretty well. PSP along with the PS 2 have sold well enough that they haven't dropped the price on the PS 3 yet.

In fact, for the people calling the PSP a failure...um...it has sold over 50 million units worldwide.
The PSP is the ONLY successful handheld not a Game Boy or DS.

I bought mine for a 4 hour airplane trip & I am so glad I did!! Very addictive.
I am especially enjoying Lego Star Wars & Batman.

I got mine with my phone deal and dig the heck of out it.
I'm really excited about Rock Band and LittleBigPlanet coming out for it.
Not so much on the new PSP, whatever the heck that'll end up being called.

Buy Smackdown vs RAW '06 so you can play GM mode on the move.

The only thing I play these days is Yu-gi-oh Tag force 1. Pretty much gonna finish that series when I'm down with number 1.

The PSP is not really selling bad at all it's just no where close to what the DS is doing.
It's the same thing when you look at sales of the 360 and PS3 and together they don't amount to what the WII does or sometimes not even half.
Nintendo is just on such a roll, and everyone else can make a profit they don't have to be either #1 or last.

Thing is, last I checked Microsoft and Sony were losing a tonne of money on their consoles. I don't know about the PSP tho. Nintendo is the only company turning a profit with their console sales

I think Microsoft has lost more on the 360 than Sony has on the PS 3. I believe Microsoft has lost $5 billion compared to Sony's $3 billion, which is why I just kinda ignore the whole fanboy war between those two. They are both losing money and they are both fighting for second.
