You can always tell when someone is on the brink of a Monster Push. They get a new look, new attitude, new music and, often, a new manager. Shawn Michaels changed from Rocker to cocky HBK, complete with Sensational Sherri. Bradshaw turned from cigar smoking tough guy to businessman, complete with Jillian Hall. Both went main event afterwards.
But what about Brian Kendrick? Once Londrick were split, The Brian Kendrick seemed like THE next big thing. New look, new music, new attitude, packaged with big Zeke and cutting backstage promo's reading the Art of War (and The Cat in the Hat, of course). It seemed like superstardom beckoned.
Now? Now he's barely on Smackdown and when he is he's jobbing to bottom of the barrel no-hopers like R-Truth.
Has WWE given up on him?

He decided that the odd joint was more important than his career.

You know, those reports of him getting de-pushed because of his attitude backstage and/or Marijuana abuse were probably right after all. Just seems silly since he could wrestle and was over as a heel, plus a bodyguard.

I hate to say it, but he brought it on himself.

It's not like he was getting huge victories to begin with, he had that one title shot at Unforgiven in September and that was it.

You mean The Brian Kendrick. It's not like he was getting huge victories to begin with, he had that one title shot at Unforgiven in September and that was it. He did beat Jeff Hardy. Twice I beleive.

Apparently the grass is more important to TBK than his ass being pushed.
I mean...that's his right to choose that path....but I wouldn't recommend it.

I stand corrected, but I believe that happened prior to the scramble as I would ascertain it was just to give him some momentum heading into that title match. After that PPV, he wasn't doing anything worthy of mentioning.

It's not like he was getting huge victories to begin with, he had that one title shot at Unforgiven in September and that was it. But it was still a push, and logically had to be building towards something, and now....nothing. Even as an ardent Kendrick fan, I have to say, if the reports are true, he DID bring it on himself. Hopefully, he gets back on track, because I REALLY got into seeing Kendrick be an actual part of the show for a change, instead of just a warm body for the main eventers to pummel.

I thought it was just that, a warm body for main eventers to beat up on, nothing more. I'm not saying I hate or like the guy (more indifferent than anything), but if these reports are true, then he's got no one to blame but himself.

Who cares? He is only over to the IWC fanboys who creamed on him since his FIP days. He gets no reaction from the crowd that I ever heard since he split from Paul (who was way more over and had way more potential IMO). I'm glad hes jobbing, atleast R-Truth gets a reaction.

Yep, those boos he got on Smackdown when he first started getting pushed somehow came DIRECTLY out of the internet, I just wish I could figure out how we did it. And this was during the days when people were staring at R-Truth like he was a moron when he was coming through the crowd, and this is from someone who's an R-Truth fan.

Eh who cares.
...also judging what reaction he gets is kinda moot, its always super dubbed on Smackdown.

Maybe they decided that pushing someone who looks like a 13 year old girl wasn't a good idea.
