It's been made official to me very recently by my awesome Mum. For two weeks in June, I'm heading off to Washington DC for my first ever trip on my own. I have a place to stay and it's with a great online mate of mine so we'll be meeting for the first time too so it's all exciting.
So Crappers, that's when you come in. Do you guys know anywhere good in your fair city/state we could do or go to? He'll know places but if there are any gems he doesn't know about, it'll be damn cool for both of us.
Also, I might be making a stop down in Philidelphia and, for the second time, New York City so any recommendations there would be great too.

Thought this was about comics. If anyone knows any good Washington DC based comic book stores, that would be sweet. See, now it is. Kinda.

If you're interested in learning more about American history and life, go to the National Museum of American History in D.C. It's HUUUUUUUGE!
For NY, I'd visit the museum of TV History. Lots of American (and maybe even some British) TV shows from years past. Also, visit the Statue of Liberty if you can.
For Philly, any of the historic sites are cool (Liberty Bell, Indpendence Hall where we declared our freedom from you bastards, etc... ;D)
