I've had two relationships over the past 21 months, each lasted one month, each consummated.
I don't "hook up" with girls very often, but these two girls were very good looking. Both of them had their negatives too large to ignore however, and I broke up with them.
It seems, though, that I'm always complaining about being single and not being able to find "right" girl for me.
Do I still have the right to complain? Does anybody in my shoes have the right?

Of course you can complain. You are trying to find someone special to you, that you want to spend the rest of you life with (or at least a long ass time), not being picky would be a horrible thing for everyone.

I suppose it depends why you are breaking up with them. If you are breaking up with them for petty reasons, then the reason why you are single is because you are throwing perfectly good girls away. In that case, you probably shouldn't complain. But if you are breaking up with them for legitimate reasons, then it's not your fault. You can complain that no *good* girls are coming your way.

I'd rather not date anyone than be dating headcases and psychos.

If you think you're being petty or if you think you're getting rid of "perfect" girls, you may have to pull out the yellow legal pad and write down all the things that you want in a wife. List the dealbreakers, the adjustables, the perks, and the clinchers.

You think you're bad? I want a girlfriend very much, yet I can never find one who understands that I work 45+ hours a week, have friends, and enjoy a private life with videogames, movies, etc, which means I can't spend every free minute I have with her. So I don't even try to look anymore.
It's like i'm happy, yet i'm lonely at the same time.

I gave up on the very thought of having a significant other when I was 15. Looked in the mirror for about an hour and realized that, top to bottom, the person looking back at me was the exact opposite of what a woman would want. And make no mistake, I would rather die alone than be a woman's settlement, or to settle on a woman. I'm afraid I have too much pride for that.
