And if you want to explain why you chose the grade that you did, feel free. I'm interested in seeing what you guys really think about what's happened over the past 6 months.

I can't say that I have been disapointed for the most part. JBL has grown on me. Moving Cena to Raw was a good move. HHH does not have the belt all the time. More Christian. Shelton is amazing. London has a belt.
Life is good

I give it an A. Although my faveorite wrestler Christian jobbed to Flair, he also got a WWE title shot, Beat Benoit with an unprettier and was able to give great promos to bash Cena which inspired me.
The Eddie/ Rey feud is having a good feel to it
The beastiality Angle is one of the funniest things I've ever seen
The draft lottery was a huge success
The titles don't mean much right now but things are looking good
ECW one night stand was great
Angle/ HBK was awesome

I give it a B.
The month long draft was skeptical at first, but by drafting the big name superstars like Cena, Batista, Carlito, Angle, Benoit, and Christian, it made viewers like myself interested to tune in every week to see who was going. Before it was just the midcards-lowercards and the top tier remainded the same. Now the main events look a little more fresh than before.
ECW ONS was a big hit. Prior to, I thought it was going to be watered down and WWE crusade centric, but it was very entertaining and WWE stars did their part without being the center of attention.
On the negative side, a second Diva Search, a Masterlock challenge, among others.
But so far, not bad. Here's hoping that they'll improve as time moves on.

The key here is you can't compare the WWE to how it was in 1999. The roster is much thinner than what it used to be. I'll give it a B as well. The draft kept people interested, the ECW PPV was the best thing I've seen in quite a while, and these Kane storylines are so awful, I actually enjoy watching these car wrecks every week.

I meant "thinner" as in guys who are hugely over with the fans. If you watch a RAW from 1999, there were almost a dozen guys who were massively over with the fans, I can't come up with half the amount of guys that this point.

I gave it a B, although it is closer to a B+. Sure, there have been some bad moments, but they have delivered when they needed to. WM XXI, ONS, and Vengance were all great PPVs. HHH has put over Batista as a big star, which he needed to do. Plus, they made a lot of the right moves during the draft, although I would have liked to see JBL go to RAW instead of Angle. This is definately the best half a year that they have had since the Invasion angle.

The classy thing to do when bumping a thread is to delete the post.
Or is that the sneakier thing to do? Well, whatever.

I'm going with A. IMO every PPV this year has delivered the goods in a big way. That's enough for me.

I give it a B. Some of the storylines suck as usual, but the matches are getting better. 2005 has brought us HBK/Benjamin, Money in the Bank, the Mysterio/Guerrero feud, Batista destroying Triple H at Wrestlemania and HIAC, Christian getting his well-deserved push, and *gasp* Ric Flair putting on an old school clinic with Kurt Angle...well i'll be damned.
Now if only the storylines would get better, Matt Hardy came back to kick Lita's teeth in, and they tell us that this is the last Diva Search EVER, i'd be a happy(er) man.

WWE gets a D so far for me. Here's why:
1. Perverted Kurt Angle - just an awful storyline here. Thank god Angle got moved to Raw before it got any worse.
2. The Edge/Lita/Kane saga - never did like Edge or Lita and sure didn't want to see any more of them than I had to. Kane on the otherhand deserves better.
3. Eddie V. Mysterio - always thought Mysterio was kinda boring character wise anyways and I think the wrong person was turned. This fued is just getting boring to me to the point where I see either of them on screen I turn the channel.
4. Chris Masters - how in the hell does this guy even have a job? One of the dullest wrestlers in the WWE today.
5. The continued never ending push of JBL - watching that match Thursday pissed me off. They did everything to Bradshaw but run over him with a tank and he still won. While Booker, Benoit, and Christian all who are better and more deserving lost. Vince needs to quit cramming Bradshaw down our throats and get someone better.
That's it for me.

I voted D.
PPVs have been good, but more and more often I find myself fast forwarding through at least 1 hour of RAW or Smackdown. Big Vis, Chris Masters, Eddie talking to Rey for 10 minutes, Heidenreich....
Plus the "rebirth" of ECW : Vince Style, The continuing screwing over of Smackdown, the total degredation of the US title....
To stop it being an F, we've had some stunning matches, like Angle HBK, HBK Shelton, and the draft has been good. But definite room for improvement. I hope they don't turn Smackdown into the "lower" show. SD and Raw should be equal, so they can keep teasing a SD vs Raw angle.
Anyway, you're probably all thinking "who is this idiot", so i'll just shut up.

I gave it a B.
I almost gave it an A, but then I thought about it. The only eras I can think of that would've gotten A's would've been 1996-1998 WCW, 1998-2000 WWF, 1985-1992 WWF.
They have been very consistent, at least on RAW, as of late. And the ECW pay per view rocked, I just got the DVD in the mail yesterday, and I've watched it thrice. Not to mention the goosebumps I got when I watched it live. Aside from that, the regular WWE programming has been very entertaining to me all year, so it definitely gets an easy B. Maybe if they keep it up, something will really catch on, and I can give them an A. Not this time, though.

I'll give it a B. Not bad so far. A few interesting draft moves, a few good title changes, some good shows... it's better than it's been in a while and I'm actually enjoying watching.
Of course, it can't be an A. There's a Diva Search and the whole Kane/Lita/Matt/Edge/Snitsky/Baby/Wedding stupidity. Not to mention Kurt Angle, Animal Lover.
But all in all, not a bad year thusfar. We've certainly had lots worse.

I give it a B, though I'd like to give it an A. WM 21 was just too much of a letdown for me.
