Excellent matches this year, which was seldom found last year.
I'd give it a B. Oh, and the draft picks have paid off.

I liked it when Tajiri spit in his face.... Wait... .A Carlito/ Tajiri angle could make millions.... [glow=green,2,300]GREEN MIST![/glow] Tajiri: (In slightly phoenetic English) I spit in the face of people who don't want to be cool! I gave the WWE a B/B- (To be exact, 72% of a possible 100%) Because they had some good matches, gimmicks were a little dry and I got to see three mexican luchadores on a John Deere Super Mower.

WWE gets a B from me. The WWE is giving new guys a chance to be on the top (Cena & Batista), has been putting out some excellent matches (Angle vs HBK or HBK vs Shelton), has provided some classic comic relief moments (several of them included Big Vis), and had one of their HOTTEST PPV's ever (ECW One Night Stand). The Draft Lottery was Damn Good, (10 times better than lasts years draft). Plus, the guy that almost everyone seems to hate on this board, HHH, has lost CLEANLY to Batista three separate times, not to mention that he tapped out to Benoit on Raw, and even lost to 'Good Ol JR' (BAW GAWD)! Both WrestleMania and The Royal Rumble were good PPV's, and the Rey/Eddie feud has been the highlight of SmackDown for most of the year. And best of all, KURT ANGLE IS ON RAW!!! Plus, even though both Hogan and Stone Cold made their returns this year, they haven't dominated the whole show. Both have been used just enough to get the BIG REACTION from the casual fan, but haven't been overused so much that the die hard fans get sick of them. Bottom line, I enjoy WWE programming and will continue to watch.

I give em a B. They (the WWE) have given us numerous match of the year candidates. They even brought back a few legends here and there. We have got to see Angle/HBK twice. Angle/Flair (IMO MATCH OF THE YEAR candidate), HBK/Shelton. HHH has gotten better. If it wasn't for the Diva Search and ummm . . . The Diva Search, WWE would have gotten an A. Oh yeah we got to see Vickie go APE-MANURE on some divas and The King. oh and I want to say that Maria is still freaking hot no matter how dim she is, she gets an A+ in my book.

I gave it a C. I do like the good things (ECW resurgence, good PPV matches, slight pushes for under-utilized talent), but I'm still disappointed by the things I'd consider negatives.
-- Horrible, horrible storylines. Beastiality Angle and Emo Kane have really disappointed me in terms of creative. Speaking of which...
-- Bizarre characters. Chris Masters, Gene Snitsky, Heidenreich, Matt Morgan, the Mexicools, Muhammad Hassan and Daivari, Kenzo Suzuki, Simon Dean and Viscera all might have the ability to contribute to the quality of the product, but are really stuck behind their one-note characters. Sure, I get a kick out of "It's Not My Fault" and the "Visagra" every once in a while, but how much mileage are we really going to get out of these played-out jokes?
-- The Diva Search II. Despite the violent reactions to these ridiculous segments last year, WWE wants to repeat it. And yes, I'm very disappointed in you fans that made the Diva Search segments the highest-rated ones on RAW. For shame...
-- The Draft. Yeah, there were some good moves (Cena, Orton, Angle, Batista, Carlito and Christian), but the BAD moves really make my head scratch. What the hell is Big Show going to do on RAW? We're depriving SmackDown of yet ANOTHER cruiser by sending Chavo to RAW? We traded RVD, Dupree and Jindrak last year, and now we're sending them back? Does anyone really care where Candice Michelle ends up? SmackDown has been ROBBED of its talent over the past two years, and I for one don't like what it's become.
That's why WWE gets a C from me. Sure, the future of RAW looks alright with a home on USA, but SmackDown is going down in flames and with it comes the brand split. I liked the split and I honestly don't see much of a stability for SmackDown, which means that a lot of talented yet underutilized wrestlers are going to lose their jobs.
