i refer in this moment with a x-pac heat with jbl, because in this moment IMO his heelish persona is no longer the one that was in his moment
i mean, when he feuded with eddie, rejected the inmigrants who were trying to cross the border, nearly kills the mother of eddie guerrero, created the gabinet, dominated all the titles, and kept the belt for a f***ing year, there i believe in his legitim heat
But now all the things that do in raw are so boring, the jbl/punk means nothing to me, the hbk case less
In this moment i don't hate his gimmick. I hate him for being in the uppercard position having some real important matches, but without the ring skills, and with no longer the mic that jbl of the 2004-2005 had
Anyway, sometimes i thought than he deserves to be in the position. he were part in one of the most important tags in the attitude era. Her transition from APA to JBL in one week was amazing, I really forget the guy who drinks beer and play cards

I haven't forgot about Bradshaw. I do have pictures of him. I do miss Bradshaw from APA.

Yeah he is really good at what he does. And what a wonderful thing he did for OVW.

Gotta love JBL Not in the best shape but that's not his gimmick. I wouldn't mind another world title run but he's just fine in the upper middle card. Definitely great on the mic and can get it done in the ring I kinda take offence to him not being in shape. Yes he isn't Cena-like in physique, but for a bit 6"4 burly guy he definately isn't fat, or out of shape. He can work as long as is needed without being winded. He's a big, solid, chunky guy plain and simple.

JBL is a true modern miracle. If you said to me at Wrestlemania XX that he would be WWE Champion 4 months later I would have called you insane.
It took me a while to accept JBL as Champion but he really played the role well (I loved his wrestling GAWD catchphrase) but it was after he left the title hunt (and ditched the Bashams and Orlando) that he really started to become interesting. His U.S Title run was very enjoyable even if it was short and his commentary.....well there hasn't been a commentator better this decade imo.
And now he's trying to bring credibilty back to the IC Championship not seen since Randy Orton. imo he is the best heel on RAW when he's at his worst (I don't care what anybody says but the build up to his match against Cena at Royal Rumble was amazing, especially when he made HBK lay down for him).
Id love to see him as a face sometime but I feel it will never happen, but hopefully he will return to commentary once he retires.....again. As for now maybe a feud with HHH would be interesting, I would especially like him to feud with Cena again as they work well together. But for now.......

I mark for smiling JBL.
When JBL is happy and has a belt, he cuts some funny ass promos.

I've been a huge Bradshaw fan, from his debut in '96 as Justin Hawk. Big Brawling Texan who delivers a lariat as a finisher? Awesome. I marked hard for his run in the APA and I liked him as a singles face going up against the nWo. Bradshaw's always been the type of worker I mark for. Big, stiff, and violent. His run as JBL showcased his promo skills, but his stuff with the APA already showed he had the chops on the mic. His return to wrestling on RAW has been awesome in terms of his promo work.
I love the CFH, and he literally murdilated Punk with that on RAW.
Seriously though, the JBL character is the most enjoyable heel in WWE to me.
I personally want to see an extended JBL/HHH feud, if anybody watched from 2004-2005 any segment where JBL/HHH faced off they were shown as rivals who hated each other. The closest to a feud they had was the elimination chamber last year. Personally I want to see this feud before JBL hangs it up.

I would of liked to see Taker vs JBL square off at wm, well maybe it'll happen some time this year. These two monsters could have one hell of a feud ending in a gimmick match like a hell in a cell or an I quit match.

I've been a fan of the JBL character since its debut. I was really tired of APA Bradshaw and thought it was awesome how he reinvented himself. As much I loved JBL, I was a little hesitant to accept him as Champ since I didn't want to see Eddie dethroned so soon. I loved Bubba Ray's face when he shook JBL's hand and said "congratulations CHAMP!" Sure he can't have 5-Star matches but that doesn't mean he doesn't entertaining matches (his cage match with Benoit for the US Title and the Title Match where Rey retired him spring to mind). I think if anybody can have a good meaningfull run with the IC Title, it's him. Just wish he could commentate too...

One major positive I can see about JBL being Intercontinental Champion will be, although it will only be to please his own ego, JBL will put over the belt like no one else seems to want to (except for maybe Punk and Regal).
That's what I like about JBL. He would put over anyone, both in the ring and on commentary, like no one else with the possible exception of Striker right now.

*Appreciates* To me he is the closest WWE will get to having Stan Hansen. He works his butt off in matches, and is a great story teller, and a master of the subtle things that make matches just that little bit better. *continues to appreciate* I just had a Fred Sanford style semi heart attack at the Stan Hansen comment. Stan Hansen is what WWE is hoping Umaga will be, a friggen unstoppable beast. JBL outside of the SFH resembles very little of Hansen. The beefy breasted hamburger helper faced JBL is a decent color guy, bland in the ring, and overrated by the IWC on the live mic.
