I'm watching as usual. We have a pretty nice (and evidently popular) song representing us so maybe we will get some points for a change.
Anyone else catching it on the telly tomorrow?

I don't think I've ever heard of the Eurovision contest before living in Norway... Quite frankly, the coverage it gets puzzles me to no end

The Eurovision... the only time it was interesting was when Lordi won it.
It was also the first and last time the best performers actually won the prize.

Well, I've had a lot of fun commenting on the Eurovision broadcast and mocking the most awful performances with the people here every year, so I'll probably watch tomorrow as well.

I watch it every year. Its great.
Although, this year there's no Terry Wogan to rip the piss out of everyone, which is a shame.

Alas, I have moved to the US now, so I won't be able to watch it. Although I only ever watched it to hear Terry Wogan getting more and more drunk throughout the night and as he's not doing it anymore I doubt I'll be missing anything.

So who's doing the coverage for the U.K now Wogan quit? Graham Norton? (shudder)
Yeah I'll probably watch it, its a laugh as it is every year.

Man, Britain has no chance of winning again. We really, really don't get Eurovision at all.

Germany has Dita von Teese doing her burlesque thing during their performance, so there's at least something to look forward to.

I missed the second semi final, did Ireland get through this year? anyway, It would be halarious the uk entry gets nil points after all the hassle they went to to get andrew lloyd webber to pick the singer and write the song. Can see it doing all right though, your woman can sing.

Hopefully Albania will win if the UK doesn't... and it's a cert that the UK won't.

No Terry Wogan = no buys. He's the only reason to ever watch the Eurovision. Well, that and to laugh at how much every Country hates us.

Another vote rigging contest for the eastern Europeans, again.
Just scrap this shit already. It's a cheesy and outdated concept with very little talent and longevity.

The Eurovision... the only time it was interesting was when Lordi won it. It was also the first and last time the best performers actually won the prize. Clearly somebody's forgotten Bucks Fizz and Abba. Moreso Abba. Shame Wogan's gone but Norton could be fun. Just a pity that the only entries that have a chance are going to be the same old buddy-voters as the last 2 years.

I'm in the extreme minority of HATING Terry Wogan's coverage of the competition and being extremely glad he's gone. If he hated it so much, and he genuinely seemed to stop enjoying it about 10 years ago, why do it?
And after the way the competition to pick the singer for the UK entry was so clearly weighted in the winner's favour, I want to see that entry flop spectacularly, so I'll be watching simply for that! ;D
Ahhhh sweet siadenfraude.

I might try and write a Eurovision song one day. "Give Great Britain A Chance (Even Though You Hate Us)".

So, which European country has had the harshest relations with the USA in the past year?
Someone tell me, because I need to place my bets!
