Me too. Perhaps this will inspire me to actually make the video series I've been contemplating...
I want to take a road trip across the country side, and have a buddy video tape me throwing a hot dog down a hallway. Then I'll upload it to YouTube or something else foolish. Because me standing there going "This is throwing a hot dog down a hallway in Des Moines, Iowa," and "This is throwing a hot dog down a hallway in Fargo, North Dakota," can't be any worse a contribution to YouTube than Fred is.

Why is it whenever you get a hot dog prepared by someone else, it's always better than when you're making it yourself? How is this possible? It takes no effort to "cook" hot dogs. Maybe it's just me. Am I crazy?
Also, free food always tastes better.

The fact that I'm stooping to hot dogs...well, I figure a can of pork 'n beans and a few hot dogs always tastes pretty good when I've had a few too many, but other than that, I see no real culinary value to the mass-produced Americanized "weiner."

Am I crazy? Also, free food always tastes better. My favorite hot dogs are roller grill ones from convenient stores, tbh. Followed by slow cooked with sauerkraut (Pennsylvania Dutch New Year's tradition), and then grilled... and blackened a bit. Then again, I grew up on boiled hot dogs. My mom and older sister didn't/don't cook much, and when my dad or brother or I used the grill... it was for steak or burgers.

They're not too bad that way but I prefer them BBQ'd.
