This isn't in regard to the other thread. But something someone said did inspire this.
I'm talking, for various reasons, whether being in Vince favor, or just being lucky, can have some comfort in having a job for a while.
I'm thinking:
Billie Kidman (as long as he's married to Torrie)
Charlie Haas (I'm sure Shelton and Kurt would stick up for him, and he recently married Jackie Gayda).
Mark Henry (this guy will never go away)
Big show (well he's big, and he and Mark Henry probably wipe their ass with $100 bills from Vince McMahon stupidly signing them to huge long term deals).
HHH (obvious reasons)
Bob Holly (I guess Vince just likes him)
JBL (see Bob Holly, and he's main eventer how who can cut a promor)
HBK (been along forever, hasn't been fired for being a huge jerk back in the day, and he seems much more mature now. And he's HHH's friend)
Kurt Angle (Best Wrestler ever)
Ric Flair (Legend, former best ever, HHH buddy and one of his idols)
Kane (well as long as he doesn't quit from anything he throws at them, I don't see why they would get rid of him. He'll do anything and not complain)
Undertaker (sure he sucks, but he's always over, been there for like 15 years)

You hit the nail on the heag with everyone there partner...hopefully Joy will stick around and be hot forever.......also RVD no matter what he says about the company and how outspoken he is seems to be pretty immune to getting fired.

It takes more than being friends with Triple H to save your career. Look at X-Pac, Regal, and Nash. And after the Rock was released with no fan-fair on the WWE's part, I'd say no one is immune.
I'd say the only ones unlikely to be fired at this point are Michaels, Triple H, 'Taker, and Angle, provided that they all stay healthy. Foley also has immunity provided he ever returns.

If we're talking about more than just wrestlers, I'd say Earl Hebner has a job for life. I can't see them letting The Fink go either.

Let's see....they're cancelling Heat and Velocity. So where are these guys supposed to be utilized? I hope Vince releases his good wrestlers so they can actually....get this......wrestle in a promotion where they'll be appreciated for their skills. Not because they're playing the role of a second-rate superhero or a fitness guru. Oh and I think John Cena is safe right now  |

HHH, HBK, and Undertaker have lifetime jobs and would be almost impossible for them to be fired. I won't say guys like JBL and Holly can never get fired, but would take a really serious incident for them to get fired, and unfortunately, a Blue Meanie incident is not serious enough in McMahon's eyes

I think the only reason why WWE keeps RVD is because they don't want him to sign with anyone else since he's a ratings boost.

It seems like they are manuevring SD! to the B-show.
I don't know whether this is bad or not. It would seem they are going to move most of the cruiserweights to SD, and I would at least think it would be better.

If Pat Patterson can be fired, anyone can be fired. He didn't really get fired, he quit of his own accord. He got this big send off after Taboo Tuesday, and he even came back a couple times over the last couple months to help out. |
