I've caught it on HBO a few times. It seems to have come and gone to little fanfare around August or so last year. It has a pretty damn good cast (Keanu Reeves, Hugh Laurie, Jay Mohr) and the story is executed well enough...I don't see what happened to it. It got some pretty meh reviews when it came out, but after seeing it for myself...I'm inclined to disagree with them.
Strangely, I don't really like Keanu Reeves. I don't feel he's that great of an actor, and many feel the same...but I've gotta give him wicked props for his performance in Street Kings. He actually showed emotion, he didn't seem like wooden "whoa" Keanu. And he was straight up, just a baaaad man. Beating a man with a phonebook before questioning him...awesome. He wasn't dorky...he just, was what he was. A hard edged cop.
This movie convinced me maybe ol' Keanu isn't such a bad choice to play Spike Speigel.
But in all, it's a great film I felt, for a modern crime thriller (very hit and miss these days). I need to pick up the DVD sometime soon. Everyone cast plays their roles perfectly just about. If you haven't seen it, check it out some time. It's really quite a pleasant surprise.

Had Keuanu not been in it, it would have gotten respect. Even if the actor played it the same way
