Someone just name dropped Brave Little Toaster in another thread and it go me reminiscing about all those Disney movies that never became "classics" and have been forgotten by the masses.
This immediatly sprung to mind.
You can watch the whole movie on youtube. I guess Disney dosn't care that much about that movie, I loved it as a kid.

Uh...do "The Rescuers" and "The Rescuers Down Under" count? No one ever says jack squat about them, but they're quite entertaining. I mean, they've got Bob Newhart as one of the voices, for cryin' out loud. Who doesn't love Bob Newhart?

"The Rescuers Down Under" is one of the few sequels that I think is better than the original.

the only Disney movies i've forgotten are movies that have come out in the past ten years that i never had any interest in seeing (i.e. Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Home on the Range)

Man, there's quite a few here that I would've said. And they're ones that I like.
I don't know, but I think Dumbo is pretty forgotten.

Truely the master of forgotten Disney cartoons. Even forgotten(Or at least they want to forget about it) by Disney themselves

Song Of The South is one that Disney wants everyone to forget.

Those were two of my favourite movies as a kid. Robin Hood came on TV there last December. I blew off a day of Christmas shopping so I could watch it for the first time in years.

I'll be getting that the day it comes out. That period of Disney films were a bit rough for Disney. The transition from the old guard of artists to the new ones among the problems.Plus for the Cauldron specifically the scenes they cut out as well that they tried to cram all the books into only one movie. But The Black Cauldron is my favorite Disney film. The Fox and the Hound is also a favorite of mine so i'm a fan of that period. I think all the Disney films from that period fall under forgotten. The Fox and the Hound July 10, 1981 25 The Black Cauldron-1985 26 The Great Mouse Detective-1986 27 Oliver & Company-1988

Song Of The South is one that Disney wants everyone to forget. Yet they have splash mountain and one of Disney's biggest songs is from that movie.

Would "Brother Bear" and "Dinosaur" count as forgotten Disney movies, even though they're more recent?

Would "Brother Bear" and "Dinosaur" count as forgotten Disney movies, even though they're more recent? Considering they rarely come up in discussions, I'd say yes. Also, if you have to ask if it is a forgotten Disney movie, then it most likely is.
