The gimmick was over and he was getting a huge push. Too bad they got unlucky.

Hassan: ..."9/11" Fans: "WHAT!?"
Just poor. Anyhow, I liked Hassan and Daivari and enjoy Daivari's wrestling now on IMPACT even though they're doing stupid stuff with him at the moment character wise. I'd like to see Hassan still around whether or not he was doing the character or not.

They really did have the best interupting music.
I was really hoping for a Muhammad Hassan World Title reign but then the whole bombing thing happened. If the bombing didn't happen he would have been a heat machine and the guy that beat him would have been an "American Hero".

Hassan was great.
Great look. Great character. Damn good Mic-Skills at the time. Capable Wrestler.
I really thought, at that time, he was going to be the "next big thing".

I honestly think that if I were in charge of the WWE one of my first acts would be to rehire Hassan.

I don't get all the Hassan love.
Even if the original character was meant to be what many think it was, it would have NEVER, EVER, EEEEEEVEEEEERRRRRR worked in WWE, nor in any other wrestling organization.
Oh, and the first words of the duo are in Farsi, while Hassan begins to rant about America, about racism, about "infidels".
That tells me he wasn't even supposed to be a sympathetic member of a minority, but just a variation, a contemporary variation of the Evil Arab stereotype.
Moreso, the USA USA reaction of the crowd pretty much closed whatever different path WWE may have wanted to take.
P.S. The WHAT chats were awful.
P.P.S. Hearing Mick Foley (of all people) giving America the biggest verbal BJ in wrestling history makes me sick. And yes, blind patriotism scares me, as the cheesy rhetorical rants about the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.
[I'm not anti-American, at all, but that crap pisses me off even more because of that]
