Just got home from their concert. Freakin awesome. Geoff Tate still has it, and the rest of the band was phenomenal too.
Feel free to appreciate their awesomeness in this thread.

I'm only really huge on the Operation:MINDCRIME albums...but they are 100% spectacular. Especially the first one.

Yep, and that's depressing. I don't even particularly care for Silent Lucidity.

EMPIRE remains in my cue list to this day...some odd 10 years later.

The song that introduced me to their greatness - Eyes of a StrangerIt may be cover, but it is better than the original - Gonna Get Close to YouA heartbreaking song about a strained father-son relationship - BridgeCan you tell that early on they were inspired by Judas Priest? - Queen of the ReichAn early international hit - Take Hold of the Flame A truly awesome song that few heard, which is a real shame - Open Here is an entertaining AMV featuring Empire Finally, a favorite of mine - Right Side of My Mind

Hooray for Queensryche! One of my favorite bands, as evidenced by my triryche tattoo on my left arm.
I've seen them four times throughout Michigan, and my favorite was when they did Operation: Mindcrime again, right before they released Operation: Mindcrime II.
Dr. T, I'm a big fan of Right Side of my Mind, have you ever found the actual music video for it? I've only been able to find it on Queensryche's website a few years ago. It's an all CGI video, and really cool.
And also, I may be the only Queensryche fan that thinks Empire sucked. Easily their worst, most commercial album ever. Crap like "Hand on Heart" is just disgusting.

There used to be quite a number of great AMVs that utilized Queensryche songs (Right Side of My Mind + BSG, Open + Advent Children, and Suite Sister Mary + Dvil May Care 3 being my persoanl favorites). Unfortunately, their record label did a very thorough job taking down videos left and right. I did see that CGI video of which you speak, but at that time I was partial to the Right Side of Baltar's Mind video.
