Well, Clint can even make "get off my lawn" sound badass.

One of my favorite films of last year. The "Talk like a man" scene was hilarious.

Probably the most racist movie I have seen in awhile. But it was great. I was the youngest person in the theater when I saw it and all these older people in their 70's and 80's could not stop laughing at all his comments.

Beautiful movie. #4 on my top movies of 2008. Clint is terrific, though I wish he hadn't used non-actors. His young prodigy, in particular, got kind of ludicrous towards the end when he had to really emote. But other than that, great direction, great writing, great music, which brings me to...
Jamie Cullum's title song from this movie is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful and haunting songs of the last ten years, and certainly the most moving piece I've heard written for a movie since just about anything from the movie "Once."

I'd be lying if I said there weren't tears in my eyes as the credits rolled. GREAT movie, but not one I'll be buying on DVD.
Too sad, and knowing the ending spoils everything.

Some people say that this is the unofficial 6th entry into the dirty harry series.

This movie was absolutely great. For some reason this movie outlasted all the other blockbusters in my local second run theater by a month and counting. The movie is a brilliant commentary about male role models. I doubt it'll get a lot of notice since it was played largely for laughs, but the bit with the barber summed up so much so succinctly.
Not only that, but how it deals with age, death, belonging, customs, etc, etc made this such a multilayered film that I believe I'll find much more from further viewings. A must own for me.

My favourite movie so far this year, amazing film. I know its wrong but my favourite bit was the joke Clint was telling in the bar with his 2 friends.
The ending was also clever too.

Great movie.
It deserved a lot more notice from the Academy than it got.

Probably the most racist movie I have seen in awhile. But it was great. I was the youngest person in the theater when I saw it and all these older people in their 70's and 80's could not stop laughing at all his comments. I don't think it's racist.
