Is there a Matt Wieters Facts page out there? The running joke is you take the Chuck Norris facts page, and replace it with Matt's name....but baseball related. Kinda like...it was raining at Camden Yards but it was b/c Matt was thirsty. I remember a few years ago, somebody posted a series of Cole Hamels Facts. My favorite one was: Cole Hamels will win two Cy Youngs, and eleven Cole Hamels.

There's a good chance Ramon Castro has played his last game for the Mets as Schnieder comes off the DL tomorrow...
There is a god.

So I'm watching Weiter's AB here on MLB.com, and I just found out his name is pronounced like "Weeders". I thought it was like "Whiters". And he flies out to RF. What a bust

I have the feeling we won't be seeing baseball in Cleveland tonight.

Okay, so it must have been a VERY isolated storm cell.
They're pulling the tarp off the field and sweeping away the excess rain. Meanwhile, about eight miles southeast of Cleveland, it's freaking pouring.
They're saying "We'll be ready for first pitch at 8:30 tonight", meanwhile I'm looking outside at a damned monsoon.

1-0 O's on the Markakis single. Markakis has protection in the lineup with Wieters hitting 7th (Kakes hits at 3 btw).

Just crabs. Luke Scott with a grand slam. 5-0 O's. Wieters grounds out to the pitcher but clearly b/c of Wieters, the O's were able to score 5 runs.

In 2003, the Indians obtained craptacular pitcher Jeriome Robertson from the Astros for two prospects that were buried down in the low minors. Those two prospects were named Luke Scott and Willy Taveras. Oh, and Matt Wieters still sucks.

Johnny Damon is now 1-for-19 lifetime against Cliff Lee.
The rest of the Yankees lineup currently has more hits.

You'd think Girardi would sit him and perhaps... maybe, call up Shelley Duncan, who's been killing the ball in AAA (As usual) to face the left-hander, but nooooooo... Angel Berroa stays one more game too long. And Cano looks absolutely lost when there's a bases loaded situation at hand.

That reminds me of how Jhonny Peralta had like 20 strikeout in 25 at-bats against Johan Santana, but then they wised up and got Chris Gomez from Baltimore specifically because of his success against Santana. He gets the start at shortstop against Santana and gets three hits.
