A guy I work with thinks he's within his rights to call his cable company any complain that the Tag match got bumped. I uttered those 4 words to him but he's a stubborn ass. He doesn't think they ever put up that notice for the WM25 commercials, so he thinks he's in the right about this. Anyone able to find any screen caps or posters saying 'card subject to change' on it?
Thanks in advance.

I'd take this matter to the white house.

If he really wants to make a complaint, then he should direct it towards the WWE, not his cable provider. WWE pulled the match off of the card, not cable.

That is like a copy of Royal Rumble 1991 I used to have on VHS. The cover said each and every exciting match, yet they cut out the Koko B. Ware vs Mountie match.

It says 'card subject to change' in small letters at the bottom of the screen during all advertising. I agree that the unification tag match was something a lot of people were looking forward to (even more so before the lumberjacks were added). We should have suspected something when they decided to tag on the lumberjacks. Usually when everybody who isn't on the show is involved in the match, it's in the match before Mania.

Cars are always subject to change, even if it doesn't say it (which I'm sure somewhere it did), it's implied or understood, check all the legalities on the WWE pages.

I still want my 10 man tag dammit! Have they chose captains yet...?
& seriously, he has no terms for complaint to the cable company.

ive never seen 'card subject to change' actually happen. im sure it has, i just dont remember it No Mercy 2007, thanks to Cena's injury on Raw right before the event. There was also Unforgiven 2008 when Punk wasn't even in the Scramble. Survivor Series 2008 when Jeff was taken out of the triple threat match. I'm pretty sure WWE puts "Card Subject to Change" on all the promotional material.

You know, I bet he could get his money back on a bizarre technicality.
That technicality?
The card didn't actually change, the match went ahead as planned but wasn't broadcast. in fact his lawyer in the inevitable precedent setting case could argue that the match was deliberately left off the broadcast to boost dvd sales (complete bollocks, but hey, an advertised match is now a dvd exclusive)
This would set a precedent where WWE could no longer say "card subject to change" for televised events but must say "broadcast subject to change" and then to fully cover their asses they'll have to say "broadcast, card and entertainment value subject to change"
It's a brave new world we live in folks
