This isn't the end of the Orton-Triple H fued or Hardy/Hardy.
I'm seeing Orton getting put over strong around Summerslam.
I see Edge/Big Show spiraling off in a fued after a probable Backlash Triple Threat Rematch.
Undertaker/HBK for the 2 more PPVs is likely since they like doing serieses of matches with high-profile Wrestlemania matches.
Hardy/Hardy will continue for at least 1 more month, and then it could be scrapped if the heat isn't there or continue till Summerslam.
Cena is likely fueding with Edge/Big Show in the immediate future.
CM Punk is probably going to cash in on John Cena and that is how Cena's title reign is going to end later this year, perhaps after Batista returns and is wrestling Cena.

They're gonna go a very different route with Punk this time. I see a heel turn this year.

I think we're gonna see a lot of the same matches at Backlash b/c of the quick turnaround. Don't see the point in doing another Orton vs. HHH match. The face won, he got his revenge...what else is there to do? Unless a McMahon turns?

One of two things happon. Either punk turns heel and beats cena, or punk will be the first to fail at cashing in MITB

Since this is post Wrestlemania thoughts, I will bring back my top matches list. Hooray!
8. Divas Battle Royal - I like Kid Rock and all, but was that really needed. All he needed to do was play one or two songs, and then the divas come out. That's what replaced the Tag Title match? That's a horrible shame. Anyway, another issue I had in this match is you didn't get to see who the girls were. I didn't see Sunny til the end, I marked hard for Molly Holly, but they barely got any recognition. So that was completely lame. And I'm usually a big fan of battle royals.
7. Intercontinental Championship - JBL (C) vs Rey Mysterio - Basically, my disappointment for the Divas Battle Royal is the reason this gets number 2 from the bottom. It was serious for Mysterio to get the belt. Plus I like how JBL was before and after the match.
6. Chris Jericho vs Steamboat/Snuka/Piper - I wasn't expecting much. Loved hearing Piper yell, "GET THE f*** OUT". And man, did everyone see Steamboat? He's in pretty good shape, and looked pretty good I though. Maybe there will be more of the Dragon in the future.
5. World Heavyweight Championship - Edge (C) vs John Cena vs Big Show - Interesting entrance with Cena. I was hoping they would do a deal with Cena would come out of the group of people. Hey, you also got to see the FCW roster. A bunch of Cena clones! Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all night. I love FCW by the way. Anyway, pretty good match, but somewhat expected.
4. WWE Championship - Triple H (C) vs Randy Orton - Pretty good, I enjoyed it. I didn't expect Randy to win, and I guess the other three before this had some great back and forth drama, where as you kinda knew with this one. I'm sure the feud isn't over now though.
3. Matt Hardy vs Jeff Hardy - Again, more drama in this match. Interesting to see Matt in tights, I think that's the first time he's been in tights since the days of the neon tights back in the late 90s. Great match all around, and this I feel really put Matt Hardy to that next level.
2. Money in the Bank - A pretty crazy and fun match to watch. Lots of drama in this match, lots of suspense. Great to see Christian get a good reaction too. I was surprised Punk was gonna win two years in a row, let's see how this run turns out.
1. Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels - Epic. Classic. That match is why I love professional wrestling. Nothing much else needs to be said.

Nice to see Big Show is continuing his WrestleMania streak. What is he, like 0-1000000 now?
Also, how come the Spanish announce table didn't get destroyed this year? I'm rather disappointed it gets to leave Mania in tact.

I think the Spanish table was supposed to collapse, but held up. There seemed to be some stalling right after.

The only good match on the card was Michaels and Taker. That should have closed the event.

I watched it at Buffalo Wild Wings because I refuse to give the McMahons any more of my money. I got there near the end of the divas battle royal, so the first thing I really saw was Santino in drag dancing around the ring for 10 minutes. It was really embarassing to even be watching it. Then out comes Rey Mysterio dressed as Doink the Clown. The whole place broke out in laughter when Mysterio came out. Then JBL drops the IC Title in 30 seconds? What was all that about? It made no sense to me. The Shawn Michaels / Undertaker match was the only thing that saved this WM from being a total trainwreck. All the Cena marks burst out in cheers when he won the World title, but who really didn't see that coming a mile away. People were cheering for Stone Cold, but it seemed like the whole 10 minutes of riding around the ring on the four-wheeler and drinking beers was just filler. I could have understood it if he had wrestled a match or participated in the show, but the Stone Cold celebration just seemed to be over the top for no reason at all. About half the people left when the HHH/Orton match started. People just didn't seem to care about the match, probably because it was no better than a match you would see on Raw.

Well, I ordered this for my nephew. At the very last minute, and the audio came on, but the screen was black, so I had to call the cable place. We missed the first couple minutes of the MitB, but saw the last couple minutes. This was the first ppv I actually ordered since WrestleMania X-7.
My thought:
I really didn't need that Kid Rock concert. I would have liked them to actually introduce and see the older divas that participated. Santino winning was stupid. Neither women's belt was defended, they could have at least let one diva shine tonight.
MitB was awesome as always. Loved the Kofi/Henry spot with the closed ladder. Don't understand Punk winning twice, but...oh well.
Matt/Jeff was pretty wild. That Twist of Fate in the chair was sick.
JBL/Mysterio was a gigantic waste of time. I'm also pissed that the tag match got bumped for Kid Rock and this squash. Rey as the Joker was cool though.
I really don't know why Cena won. He doesn't need the belt and Edge cannot go more than a month or so before losing the title. If anything, they should have had Show win it in a surprise since nobody really expected him to do anything. I got a little excited when Cena's old music hit, and then...eh.
Steamboat was awesome! Loved the match, went the way I expected it to. The stuff with Mickey at the end was just kind of awkward and lame though.
Orton should have won, but I understand why he didn't. If his match was first, then yeah...he would and should have won. Was anybody else wondering why it was quiet during this match? Especially from Trips and Orton, there was no smack talking or anything, I expected it to be hardcore and fast from the bell like Austin/Rock at X-7.
I got a kick out of Austin on the ATV. He probably single-handedly saved the WWF at the time from going under.
Undertaker/Michaels. Wow. Seeing 'Taker hit all of his moves from Old School to the Last Ride to a couple of Tombstones was awesome. The cameraman bump was pretty nasty, I thought. Also, Shawn's dive that 'Taker swatted away looked painful. The ending was absolutely perfect.
Overall, a decent show, still not as good as 17 which was the last ppv I saw. I enjoyed it mostly because my nephew did and he reenacted everything the wrestlers did. Good times were had by me and my crew tonight.

I think they need to turn Punk heel this time around. There's really no other way to top his last cash in. Also I hope the huge pop Christian got and how it actually caused a lot of people to Boo Punk makes him realize that Christian is main event material and give him his due.

Nice to see Big Show is continuing his WrestleMania streak. What is he, like 0-1000000 now? His only Mania win was at 22, where he and Kane successfully defended the tag titles against Carlito and Chris Masters.

I can't believe it.....I haven't bought a PPV since RR 2008.
I decided to purchase WM based on the strength of 3 matches. HBK/Taker, The Hardys, and the Tag Team unification match. I got 2 of them, and to top it off it didn't even feel like Wrestlemania until almost halfway through.
I haven't been this dissappointed in a PPV since ONS 2006, and that was ruined by crappy Dish Network service and Rain.
There's no reason to half-ass it this badly on the Grandaddy of 'em all, most of the matches felt like longer versions of stuff we get on "Free TV". No specticle, no pomp and just an overall "meh" vibe
Many would be in the "I'll never watch WWE again" camp and simply complain and be angry.
I'm more saddened by the whole thing....saddened and worried about the state of WWE, If this is the biggest show of the year and has a Throwaway PPV" feel to it, then what ate we to expect from now on?
Hell....Lockdown looks more promising than the way I remember WM right now. I'm not a TNA fan , but at the very least they seem to put more effort into thier matches.
But that may be the problem; the wrestlers looked listless and unenthusiastic, the matches seemed to be jerkily paced and off-kilter. The best paced matches were HOF/Jericho (Despite Snuka looking lost) and HBK/Taker (Didn't feel like 30+ minutes). The Main Events were stilted, Cena/Show/Edge was good despite the odd finish (Not Cena winning, I don't mind that....I'm just afraid of him getting SuperBooked and would have prefered a closer finish)
Also what was the reason for bumping the Tag Title match from the Live PPV? After promoting it on all 3 shows and having one of the better builds out of the 9 matches its bumped for what could be called one of the most lackluster celeb performances at WM.
The Diva Clusterf*** was not so much of a disappointment if only for "Santina". Though with the Kid Rock intro, it rendered the whole "Divas from past and present" aspect rather moot.
Orton/HHH was just rushed to me, and the Ref bump, while necessary for the angle, went on too long. The absolute post-punt domination by Trips seemed forced and I think should have been more of a back and forth match.
Overall, I'm just not happy with the end result, this WM is simply far weaker than it should have been and no greater than the sum total of its component matches. Simply a disjointed PPV with a mid-year PPV feel, not a WM one.

I saw it with a group of big wrestling fans . . . and we spent the entire Triple H/Orton match talking about old PPVs and matches, that basically turned into a trivia contest, and complaining that the tag title match had been pulled (we hadn't read that it was moved to Dark Match duty.) No one was into it, and their slow pace didn't help.
MiTB, Taker/Shawn, and Hardy/Hardy were the only matches that we didn't joke around. We were set for the Divas' Battle Royale, but when they didn't announce anyone, we didn't care. Nattie Neidhart and Molly Holly were the only two (along with Santina) we could tell apart from the rest, and that was because of their bright, neon colors. It took forever to find Sunny and Nidia and the like.
I normally am the last to complain about WWE programming, events, storylines, etc . . . but this was poorly planned, ill-timed, and at times filled with bewilderment that "really? This is Wrestlemania?" I usually buy the 3-disc set the day it comes out at Best Buy, but I don't know if I'll make a special trip this time around.

I was thinking about something when I was trying to fall asleep that I just found odd:
There wasn't a single backstage interview at WrestleMania. Not a one.
