I loved the first one the most. Same here. RVD is my favorite wrestler and I marked when he won the second one, but that match had too much deadweight in the form of Flair, Finlay, and Lashley. They just don't belong in ladder matches. The first one on the other hand had five great wrestlers and Kane, who is passable.

I loved the finish to the one at 24, but overall I like the original the best.

Lame winner aside, I remember enjoying 23's a lot.

They're all awesome, but seeing as I have to pick, I will go with the original. I don't really consider people like Flair and Finlay etc deadweight like some have in this thread and a few previous ones, coz to me, especially someone like Finlay who's now making his second appearance in the MITB, they're there to do their job which is not just help entertain and obviously NOT win the match (anyone really think Finlay is in with a chance?), but to be the ring general to help the flow of the match, pitch on the fly ideas to others and be the glue that holds it together. That's just my opinion anyway, hope it made some form of sense. In a nutshell, always good to have a true ring veteran in there too. Can't do any harm.

The more I watch it, the more I like 23's the most. It was the longest one also.

The first one, by default.
No matter what crazy spot they came up with in the following editions, the first match still wins because it was a novelty and we didn't know what to expect: so it was awesome.
Now, after 3 more matches, we know what we'll get and we'll be disappointed, should not get a bigger OMG moment every year
