John Cena will be drafted to SmackDown! in the Supplemental Draft!
Why? Well, there are two world champions on RAW. WWE can't have that. Plus, they want to have this element with the draft. And, what would be more surprising if the World Heavyweight Champion was drafted during the Supplemental Draft!?
I'm telling ya! This will happen! If not, I will eat a chicken.

God, I hope not.
Smackdown looks great, and adding Christian, Morrison and/or Kofi will make it perfect IMO.

As I just said on another post. Unless Orton or Cena is drafted in the supplemental draft- and I see it being more likely to be Orton than Cena, they have effectively given away the ending to Backlash, and proven that Cena is now a transitional champion and will then be stuck under the glass ceiling called Triple H for the next year, where he'll burn out, go to TNA, be stuck in the midcard there (though he'll win the X-division belt) return to WWE to become either US or IC champion, and then fade into the sunset at like age 38 or 40 or whatever age he is now plus three years. Shame to see his career end like that, but by blowing the ending to Backlash, they've pretty much proven that Cena's time has come up.

You had me until TNA X-Division champ... Well there's no way TNA wouldn't put at least one belt on him. I can't see him working in any kind of tag team there, and the Legends belt itself is kind of a joke that I think AJ retired cause Lord knows it hasn't been seen since he won it that I can think of, they won't put the Japanese belts on him and they won't put the World title on him. The X-Division belt is used for midcard guys, and Cena will be a midcarder there, so that'll be the belt they put on him for like two months. Then after that he'll be stuck in midcard hell in TNA, say 'screw it' go back to WWE and the rest of the scenario plays out as I described.

Nah. CM Punk is going to cash in his MITB after the Last Man Standing Match at Backlash and take the belt to SD.
I can see it a million miles away.

I could see that happening, but at the same time, with Batista, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and John Cena on RAW, there's no big face on SmackDown! other than Jeff Hardy and the Undertaker. And, the Undertaker wrestles a part-time schedule. So, that just leaves Jeff Hardy. SmackDown! needs another big face, and Cena fits the bill.

CM Punk Yeah, but he went back to the mid-card after he lost the World Heavyweight Title. And, I can't see them doing the same thing with him twice.

Beleive me, the last thing I want to see is Cena play second fiddle for the next year to Triple Fraud. I just think Cena getting drafted to SD is too obvious that it won't happen.
I think Batista is going to turn at Backlash. I really do. They planted the seeds tonight with both Shane and Triple Fraud screwing him over.
From there they can eventually get a program going between him and Cena where they have their re-match at SummerSlam.
Plus, CM Punk as the head face on SD along side UT and JH just makes sense. He can have fantastic fueds with both Edge and Jericho for the next 6 to 8 months.

I'm hoping that Smackdown gets Christian, Evan Bourne, Kofi Kingston and John Morrison in the supplemental draft.
But, I agree with the consensus that John Cena should be moved to Smackdown. Plus, I just don't see them making him a transitional champion. That's what Edge's job is.

Plus, I just don't see them making him a transitional champion. That's what Edge's job is. I was expecting Cena to be moved tonight. I don't think they'll move him from Raw because he sells merch like nobody else in the company, but because Triple H is on Raw now, the glass ceiling is back and Cena will never get anywhere near the belt so long as Trips is there. So I don't see Cena retaining the world title because of the fact he wasn't drafted. So that means he's not going to be in the WWE much longer. I pretty much outlined what I think is the ultimate fate for Cena a few posts up on this thread.

So you're saying Cena will soon be a midcarder in TNA? Okay, sure. That makes sense.

So you're saying Cena will soon be a midcarder in TNA? Okay, sure. That makes sense. Yeah pretty much. Cena was so restricted to a small moveset in WWE that when he makes the jump TNA will only use him as a Midcarder, but since they'll want to say they had a former WWE world champion actually win a TNA belt (so far no former WWE world titleholders in TNA have been the holder of any singles belt I can think of, and I'm not counting the Legends belt cause it'ss a Goddamned joke, sorry Booker T), they'll throw the X-Divison belt his way for two months. After that he'll be in midcard hell for awhile, then jump back to WWE, be either US or IC champ, then kinda fade quietly into the sunset.

I expected Cena to get traded after HHH did, when he didn't, I figured Edge would just win at Backlash. Hadn't thought of MITB but that makes sense (although a total rehash of last year), where Punk cashes in MITB to bring the belt to SD. I'd mark if he'd turn heel and cash it in on Cena after MITB, instead of Edge again.
