Yes, Lillian introduces the jobbers as "At a combined weight of 450 pounds, the team of CM Punk."

Are you just in the mood to post random old clips of CM Punk doing odd jobs in WWE? I mean, there's nothing wrong with that, but first him watching Brock sign some chicks shirt and then this, there's definitley a pattern...

This is not CM Punk, it's "Chad Collier and Russell Simpson".

I remember seeing this when it was new and wanting to vomit. I was already a fan of CM Punk and knew that he had no business jobbing to some green piece of crap like Maven. I know, he was a nobody to WWE, but dammit I didn't care.

I remember watching this. Then CM Punk won the ROH title couple of weeks later! I also remember him losing to Val Venis on a episode of Heat and Coach saying CM Punk has a future.

I remember this match and wondered at the time "Who are these guys, and why does a team calling themselves 'CM Punk' not feature CM Punk?"

That's so random. Why would two guys dress as CM Punk and name a team after him? Weird.
Also Punk vs Val Venis in 2005 was actually a great match. Val was great at making guys look a million bucks, and obviously Punk showed enough talent for the WWE to hire him full time.

I liked Punk's old jobber matches in the E, he was even able to get a fair amount of old school heel heat in the Val Venis one.
All these low card matches where the well known indy wrestler jobber gets offense have been good. Not just Punk, but Low Ki, Samoa Joe, and AmDrag have all had some neat little 5-8 minute jobber matches in wwe.

I wish C.M. Punk had Simon Dean's charisma and mic skills. Then maybe I wouldn't use his segments as a bathroom break.
